For the past few months after the incident...Harley had been having murderous intent whenever the Joker spoke to her. She had been speaking to Crane. He mentioned his interest in the chemicals, though getting him out seemed a lot more easier than Pamela. He was out of the asylum within one month to be exact, he was sane...just oddly obsessive. Pamela on the other hand was to stubborn? Even after I told her what I knew was going on during the nights. Selena had gotten out happily as the parents forgave her. It truly was one hell of an apology note.

Today was going to be the last day to get Pam out of the asylum. "Harley leave it." The redhead sighed. "I just know I'm not ready..."

Harley frowned pouting her bottom lip out. "Why are you scared? You'd have a place to go outside of this asylum."

She smiled weakly. "I know...and I..." her head went down.

The redhead seemed off...she would have been ecstatic to get out of this place a few months ago? "Come on Pammy tell me what changed your mind?"

"I-I can't..." she worried.

Harley sighed in irritation. "Okay? If you can't then I understand, I was just hoping we could hang out more in the fields of grass at your sanctuary, maybe go into a cave through the waterfall I found the other day with a friend."

The redhead was smiling crookedly. "I'll just ask Selena to come see it with me." Harley shrugged standing up. "Sadly this is our final session. I have to go upstairs to help Sandra treat her patients."

"Are you trying to get a ride out of me?" The redhead glared.

"Just a little." She giggled only to stop from the sudden feeling a stinging grew on her thigh. She'd almost forgotten about it? "Give me...a moment."

She knocked on the door. It opened gradually, but Harley slammed it open. "I'll be back my apologies!"

After rushing to the bathroom Harley checked the mark. The thorns on the rose disappeared and the stem...looked like it was almost growing? Her face went red from the location it was heading to? The letters hadn't changed for some reason? Instead it was the same from before. That pain must have been the growing stem and the disappearance of the thorns. When she made it back she was smiling in fear. "Something bothering you?" The redhead smirked.

"Hey you get answers if you tell me why you're not interested in getting out of this place." Harley retorts

"I wish I could, but...Harley?"
The blonde stood up and turned off the UV lights. "Hey, what are you doing?" The blonde placed an ear bud in the slot for the redhead to take. Conversations such as this kept up until yesterday when Harley asked Bruce for some equipment. She waited for the redhead to place the bud in as she placed her own in. "Shhh." The blonde smiled.

"Bye Pam." Harley yawned knocking on the door. "I'm done here Karl." She walked out.

After a while Harley made it into her office. She clicked the side of her ear. "Pammy." She whispered.

"How'd you—."

"Shh. You don't want to make it obvious do you? Grab your book and pretend you're reading."

"Okay."

"Alright now tell me exactly why you can't leave. I know you don't want to stay down there?"

"Well...Joan took a notice to my skin. She told me stay here otherwise she'd up the dosage on the fertiliser. As to why she wants me to stay here...it's because the thing they put up my nose is a treatment to turn me back into a person...at least that's what she told me?"

Harley sighed. "Do you want to be a regular person."

"No...but." The redhead didn't want to say anything about the blonde. If she became a regular person the blonde could be with her without any worries of her dying?
