Makena's POV

"He what Sam?! Geez just say it already!!" I yell causing Kai to jump and I instantly regret it.

"He's alive but not doing so good, he has stage 4 Hypovolemia from losing so much blood." He informs

"Sam what the fuck is that?!"

"The most critical state of blood loss, his body is basically shutting down from his wounds. He experienced 2 gunshot wounds and a stab wound in the left kidney. He pulled the knife out which made it worse." He explains

Losing too much blood? Body shutting down? I felt like my heart broke in a million different ways.

"Jia please take Kylo and Kai." I say while kissing Kai on the forehead and kissing Kylo on the cheek.

Jia quickly picks up little Kai and grabs Kylo's hand and leaves.

Tears begin to leave my eyes and Sam comes to my bedside.

"Where is he?" I cry

"We have him being treated in our own private facility. We try to avoid hospitals since the event that happened with you being hurt years ago." He informs

I get out of the bed and grab some clothes to change into.

"What are you doing?" Sam questions

"You're going to take me to him." I say quickly

"Makena, you need to rest you gave birth in the freaking car!" Sam exclaims

"And my husband is injured and fucking dying as we speak, Sam! Now can you please tell the nurses I need to leave." I reply in frustration

"You're right. I'm sorry, get dressed and I'll be back to take you." He says and leaves quickly

I carefully put on my clothes, rinse my mouth and splash water on my face.

Sam quickly came back and grabbed my arm to help me.

"I had to tip the nurse off for them to discharge you." He chuckles

"Thank you Sam youre the best." I laugh softly

We make it to the car and I quickly hop in.

"Where did Jia and the boys go?" I ask

"Since Kai is approved to leave, they are waiting for a separate car to take them back to the house. We had to get the baby car seat." He answers

"Thank you so much. I appreciate you, I'm just still trying to wrap my head around why Johnny would do something like this." I say while I stare out the window.

Sam swallowed hard before speaking. "He was jealous...but you don't have to worry about the traitor anymore. Young-Soo killed him and when we got there Min Hwa was hysterical she was trying to stop Young-soo's bleed-"

"I want that bitch dead." I interrupt

"Makena, She's in custody right now. We can't make that decision without Young-soo." he says
