Makena's POV

Heavy foot steps come running into the room.

"What's wr- OH SHIT! Watch out baby." He says and pulls Kylo onto his side.

I was in complete shock, I had no idea what to do. He just laid there and I couldn't even help him.

"We need to call the ambulance or something! He's having a fucking seizure!" I cry

"Makena, I need you to calm down baby." Young-soo says and checks Kylo's breathing as he continues through the seizure.

"Calm down?! How can I calm down?!" I shout

"He's going to be fine. I need you to take a deep breathe and calm down. He can still hear you, he needs to hear your soothing voice." Young-soo continues to rub Kylo's head and whispers to him softly in korean.

I hesitated before touching him, afraid I may hurt him.

"Kylo, baby Eomma is here. You're going to be okay. When you get better you can have all the stuffed puppies you want" I softly chuckle with tears streaming down my face.

Young-soo starts snapping and trying to get Kylo to focus on him.

"He's having a febrile seizure, it should be over in a few." He says

"What is that?! Was this the thing you had a bad feeling about!?" I try to stay calm

"This isn't bad but it's not good either. He's having one because of his fever." He informs

Kylo stops shaking and starts breathing normal again but heavy.

"Go put a mask on. If it's contagious you don't need to catch it." He orders

"He already threw up on me so I've already been exposed." I reply

Young-soo sighs

"We can take him to the doctor first thing in the morning." He says

"But what if it happens again? He needs help now."

"Makena, I used to go into febrile seizures when I was younger. I know how to handle this. He inherited from me." Young-soo informs

I felt a little better knowing Young-soo knew exactly what was happening.

He carries Kylo back to his bed and changes his pull-up.

"Kylo, I love you so much and you're going to be okay baby." I reassure

He was just looking around, like he wasn't fully there.

"When will he return back to normal?" I ask

"10 to 15 mins, he'll be able to fully be conscious. It's going to be okay baby, I know it looks scary. But as long as we can get his fever down, it will be okay."

"Let me get a cool cloth." I state

I quickly get up and prepare the cloth for his forehead.

"We can watch him in shifts okay?. You go ahead and get some sleep." Young-soo instructs

"But-"

"Makena, you do so much with him already. It's okay, I got it." He smiles

I didn't want to sleep but I know I needed it. I trusted Young-soo with this especially since he has experienced it.
