Chapter 8

CHAPTER EIGHT

"Mommy, kiss mo din po si daddy." I was shocked of what rain said with her pleading eye's. Ng tingnan ko naman si regan ay nakangisi ang tukmol abot hanggang tenga.

"My, you love daddy right? Teacher told us that we're the fruit of the love that you and daddy have. We're not here if you don't love each other, right?" I was like a statue, i can't move nor i can't uttered a word.

Red question hit me, how could i explain to them that regan and i don't love each other the time we make them.

Regan walked towards me and i was stunned when he captured my lips. It was just a smacked and he faced his child. "Of course. Daddy and mommy love each other, that's why we have red and rain." Regan hands held my waist and pulled me closer to him as if he was hugging me.

"Right, hon?" I was shocked but nod when i saw the twins waiting  for my answer. I can't bear seeing them sad, i can't bear breaking their hearts. Okay na, na ako lang ang masaktan wag lang ang mga anak ko, hindi ko kakayanin kung sakaling makita silang nasasaktan at nagdudusa dahil sa amin ni Regan. 

Rain clapped her hands and run towards her father. "Karga po ako, daddy..." Kaagad naman humiwalay sa pagkakayakap ng bewang ko si regan at kinarga ang anak saka hinalikan ang tuktok ng ulo ni rain. 

I saw red smile while looking at his father and twin tickling each other. "Red, gusto mo karga ka ni mommy?" I asked and he shook his head.

"No, po. I'm big boy na and I already gained weight mommy because i ate too much veggies. I'm mabigat na, po."  I chuckled and walked towards him and level his height. "Mommy love's you, red." I murmured.

"I love you too, po. I love mommy, daddy, rain, lolo, lola, tita rachel saka si tito greg din." anito at yumakap sa leeg ko.

I stood up in sitting on the sofa when regan get out of the twins room. "Tulog na?" I asked. Happiness is visible in his face while nodding at me, i made the right decision.

Naupo siya sa isahang sofa kaya naupo na rin ako. I waited for him to speak but he just sit there smiling. Okay lang ba siya?

He's more handsome when he smile, parang ang bait bait niyang tao pag nakangiti at parang kakainin ka naman ng buhay pag nakasimangot at seryoso lang ang mukha niya.

I face palmed and stared at his face while he's too pre-occupied of something that make him smile, a smile that could make the girls knees flocks. While i stared at him i can say that red get his smile to his father and serious look, wag naman sanang dumating ang araw at maging babaero din ang anak ko.

Red and Regan face can be a crime and can break girls heart. Nakikita ko na din ang dalawa kung paano ang gagawin nilang pagprotekta sa prinsesa ko, kay red pa nga lang ay nayayamot na si rain sa pagka-over protected nito, paano pa kaya nakisali na ang ama at magsanib pwersa pa ang dalawa.

"I know, I'm handsome." I stop staring at him and rolled my eyes. Hindi ko naman pwedeng sabihin na panget siya at totoo naman na gwapo siya.

"Uuwi kana ba?" I asked.

"Bakit? Pinapauwi mo na ba ako?" He answered me with his question.

I sighed and calmed myself, I can't shout and fight at him the twins might hear us. "Baka lang naman kako, gusto mo ng umuwi at madaling araw na." I said in a monotone way.

"Okay," He stood up. "Tama ka, anong oras na at pagod ka pa. I take my leave now, i visit the twins tomorrow." He said and walked the way to the door. "Ingat," He nod before regan could leave completely we heard crying in the twins' room. When I turned around to go to the twins' room,8 I saw them at the door crying while looking at their father.

Mas mabilis pa ang naging kilos ni regan at nakita ko na lang siya na lumuhod at niyakap ang dalawa, habang nakatayo lang ako at nakatingin sa dalawa kong anak na umiiyak sa balikat ng kanilang ama. "No! y-you told us that you love us r-right? Why you suddenly want to l-left us?" Hagulhol ni rain habang akap-akap ang leeg ng ama.

"No, hindi kayo iiwan ni daddy. Uuwi lang si daddy sa bahay, babalik din naman ako rito bukas."

"D-Dito ka na lang po, wag mo iwan rain and red. Dito na lang daddy ko." It break my heart seeing them cried. I wiped the tears that came out on my eyes and looked, regan already have the twins and his arms and walked towards the twins room.

Sumunod ako sa kanila at nakita ko na maingat na inihiga ni regan ang dalawa na sumisinghot pa at namumula ang mga mata galing sa pag-iyak. Regan lay beside the twins and hugged them, it was so fast that the twins sleep. "Dito kana matulog." I said and walked towards the other side of the bed and kissed red and rain forehead.

"Okay lang ba talaga sayo na dito na ako matulog, ngayong gabi?" He asked.

I nod. "Oo naman, gabi na at hindi natin alam kung ano ang pwedeng mangyari sayo. Kaya, mas mabuti na magpalipas ka muna ng gabi dito."

"My, sleep beside me." I looked at rain and she's sitting on the bed and her eyes are closed.

I looked at regan and he's looking at me, i sighed and lay beside rain. Sa gitna ang kambal habang sa magkabilaang dulo ng kama naman kami ni regan.

I hugged the twins and closed my eyes to sleep, before i feel asleep i heard regan say goodnight to me, may sinabi pa siya pero hindi ko na narinig at tinangay na ako ng antok.

"Good night, jess. Babawi ako sa inyo ng kambal." He murmured but no one answered him, when he looked at jess she's already sleeping.

I sat on the bed and watched the three of them, I smiled and caressed my son's hair. My heart was full of joy, my knees almost shook with nervousness as jess and I approached their house earlier and when I saw the twins it was as if I wanted to cry and hug them immediately. When red and rain called me daddy, my tears flowed, that's how happy it is to be called your own child's daddy.

Seeing the twins cry earlier seemed to be squeezing my heart and I couldn’t breathe. As much as I can, I myself will wipe away their tears and take revenge on those who made them cry.

It's like I'm in a cloud and it's like a dream for me when the twins and jess hug me. If it's a dream that happens to me, I don't want to wake up anymore even i just want to live in this dream.

Tumayo ako at inayos ang higa ng kambal, nilagay ko sa dulo ng kama si red at hinatak ang sofa sakaling malaglag siya ay sa sofa siya malalaglag, inusog ko din ang pwesto ni rain ganun din ni jess at may kaunting space pa ang natira sa likuran ni jess. Doon ako nahiga at yumakap sa bewang niya, at nakangiting nagpatangay sa antok.

Nagising si ako ng makaramdam ng halik at hagikhik mula sa kambal. Ng imulat ko ang aking mga mata ay nakita ko ang kambal na pinapapak ng halik ng mukha ko. Uupo na sana ako sa kama ng may humigit sa bewang ko at ng lingunin ko ang salarin ay halos lumabas na ang eye ball ko sa gulat.

Regan hugged me while he was still sound asleep, he didn't even pay attention to his daughter's giggle and even tightened his hug on me. I felt all my blood go to my cheek when Regan started kissing my neck while he was still squeezing there.

Red giggled at the same time as rain when he saw his father's position on my neck.

Nakarinig kami ng malakas na lagabog at sabay kami ng kambal na tumingin sa ilalim ng kama at nakitang umungot si regan habang hawak ang pwetan, dahil sa pagsipa ko sa kanya pababa ng kama.

Humalakhak ang dalawang bata at napangiti naman ako ng umangat ng tingin si regan at nakitang tumatawa ang dalawang anak ay napangiti ito at ng mapunta naman ang tingin niya sa akin ay masama niya akong tinignan.

"Punishment awaits you later, baby." He mouthed and smirk at me. I gulp and avoid he's stares and try to think what punishment awaits for me later.
