"I don't get it," a voice began "it's been at least two weeks why haven't we heard anything?"

Taking a sip of her warm tea the tricolored feline uttered "Perhaps you lack a thing called patients."

Unamused the light brown colored hedgehog dully replied, "Very funny."

"I doubt you'll still find this funny when we're forced to take orders from those miscreants." Snapped the slightly annoyed female.

With a click of his tongue Jacob answered, "And I'm the one who needs to learn patients?"

Regina now had a fully visible protruding vein as she backhanded the unsuspecting male, who instantly felt a stinging sensation which was accompanied by a fully visible red slap mark that appeared on the side of his face.

"Hopefully that teaches you a lesson about who's in charge here." She warned.

Furrowed brows the young hedgehog barked "Allow me to burst your bubble and say it ain't you either!"

Before responding once more, a loud bang of a door opening and closing made both their heads turn. When seeing that an out of breath kitsune fox had a troubled expression written on his features resulted in their quarrel to come an to abrupt end.

Hazel eyes filled with concern and exclaimed "Zack, is everything all right?"

"I'm afraid not," the disheartened Auburn male stated, "I've just received word that another attack was reported east of here."

Tricolored ears shot up in alert "But that's only a few miles from where our-"

"-Late rulers paid the ultimate price I know."

The light brown hedgehog realized what this meant and asked, "Which means there could be a third interference in all this?"

The young feline hesitantly responded "...Anything's possible, I just hope our unwelcomed guest isn't after the chosen ones."

"With what's going on, I wouldn't put it past 'em." A less than enthused Jacob responded.

Holding his hand outward the two tailed fox informed "This was found near the wreckage."

The tricolored female noticed the piece of cloth had rips and tears all throughout. Indicating whoever owned the rest of it, didn't seem to notice let alone care about how poor a condition it looked. Even though they'd hit a dead end when it came to clues, the three friends knew that whoever was responsible for the earlier attacks, weren't anywhere close to being finished with what they had started.

Crimson and Emerald eyes widened in astonishment when seeing all their ancestors well-kept ancient and irreplaceable treasures staring backup at them from inside of its compartment. As the two hedgies began their search, Amy suddenly came to an abrupt stop when a feeling of uneasiness washed over her.

'I-I don't understand, I was fine a few seconds ago.' She thought trying to remain calm.

Noticing this sudden change caused concern to run throughout the ebony hedgehog's body as he placed a steady hand on her shoulder.

"Rose?" His voice called out.

Cherry pink ears perked up to this, but unfortunately found it difficult to break through the imagery wall that seemed to prevent her from answering him.

'C'mon, Amy! You don't want to keep, Shadow waiting now do you?' Sneered a voice.

'You think he cares about you?' Added another 'Ha! You're nothing more than an obstacle standing in his way!'
