28. "i missed you"

"When do we get the results?" I asked Hoseok over the phone as I paced around my living room floor. I was ready to see if there were any evidence on her phone that could tell me the reason why she would kill herself. Now that I know Jin couldn't have been the reason for it, I couldn't help but try to at least find some closure.

"Tomorrow," He replied and my eyes widen. "They'll send them to me and then I'll contact you once I get them, Aera. And if there is anything on there that seems suspicious we will try to open this up as a case and solve it for sure."

I sucked in a deep breath before smiling. "Alright, thank you so much, Hoseok." I said before saying our goodbyes and hanging up.

Results tomorrow. I felt my heartbeat rising as my whole body began to shake as I tried to sit down on the couch. What would happen once I see the stuff on her phone?

I sighed as I ran my hand through my hair when my phone rang. I quickly picked it up when I felt a sense of calmness hearing Jungkook's voice.

"Did Hoseok contact you? How was it? What did he say?" Jungkook asked over the phone. "Most importantly though, how is my Aera feeling?"

I slightly smiled feeling my eyes welling up just from him asking me how I was feeling.

"He told me I'll get the results tomorrow," I nervously replied as I bit my thumb nail. "Jungkook, I'm so scared. What if there's something bad on there? What if I find something I shouldn't be finding on there?"

"Aera, don't worry. I promise I'll be by your side the second you walk into those police station doors! Anything you find on there, we'll find together and I'll be there to hold you if you need it." He stated, and I slightly laughed, tears beginning to roll down my cheeks.

"Thank you so much," I replied, wiping them away.

"Mm," he said before clearing his throat. "Baby? I just got off work and driving home right now, so please act like you've been waiting for me at home."

"What?" I slightly laughed when I heard his soft laughter.

"I miss you so much, Aera," he whined. "I'll be home within a few minutes so wait for me! Got it?!"

"Alright, I got it." I laughed before saying our goodbyes and hanging up.

A while later, I heard a knock on my door. I quickly opened it when Jungkook swiftly pulled me into a tight hug.

"Ah, seriously," I muttered as his heavy body pulled me in tighter. He pushed the door closed with his foot before kissing my head.

"I missed you so much, I thought about you all day." He said as he kissed my forehead. "I hope you're feeling happy right now, Aera."

I sighed in his comfort, closing my eyes as I felt myself snuggling in closer when he pulled me slightly away only to connect his lips onto mines.

"Open your mouth, Aera," he softly said onto my lips when he began moving his lips against mines. He softly sucked onto my bottom lip, his teeth softly grinding on it.

I felt my breathing getting heavier when he pushed me against the wall, one hand moving up my back from under my shirt whilst the other one moving down to caress the side of my thigh.

"I missed you, Aera," he softly whispered, moving his lips onto my right earlobe as he lifted me up as I wrapped my legs around his waist. "So fucking much,"

"Ah," I softly moaned when he pressed himself against me.

"Did you miss me, Aera?" He whispered, leaving soft pecks on my jawline, down to my chin. "I thought of you all day, every second, every minute, every hour that you weren't there. I thought of only you."

"I missed you too," I breathed, my body heating up as he sucked on my neck. I slightly opened my eyes when he smashed his lips against mines, his tongue fighting to come inside. I softly smiled, leaving my lips sealed trying to tease him.

"Fuck, Aera," he breathed before pulling away. "Let me in, yes?"

I slightly laughed, my cheeks flushed as I noticed how red and swollen his lips became.

"Seriously," he frowned before grabbing my hand and pulling me into my bedroom.
