"You want to know about Jungkook and not your past?" Jimin asked Y/n with his eyes widened at her previous statement. He did not expect her to change like this neither did Jungkook. Nor Y/n herself.

She just didn't come up straight to Jimin asking him about the man she hated not so long ago, of course, she thought about it again and again. When she finally decided and admitted her day-by-day growing interest in Jungkook, she came to the person who seems to know Jungkook the most at the moment.

Asking Jungkook directly would have been too embarrassing for her. And awkward for Jungkook.

"Yes, you heard it right. It just feels weird that I don't know anything about him when he knows everything about me. And your guys' relationship, yours and Jungkook's relationship, it gives me weird ideas." She almost whispered the last part avoiding eye contact.

Clearing understanding what that meant, Jimin cleared her throats. It was more awkward for him as he knew the man she was talking about is just against the door.

"What…what type of ideas?"

Jimin did not want to ask this, obviously. But it came out of his mouth involuntarily, as an instinct. He regretted it right away.

"Trust me, you wouldn't be too pleased to hear my current thoughts," Y/n warned him not to ask anything more on that topic. Jimin, who seemed to get that, tries to make the situation less awkward.

He flicked his finger on her forehead. "Just what goes in the head of yours." He said.

"Now, ask whatever you want to know." He changed the subject.

"Tell me about Jungkook. What is he like? I mean in reality? Does he laugh a lot? What does he enjoy? Do you know his favorites?" Y/n flooded the boy with questions.

"Okay, calm down. I'll tell you."

Meanwhile, Jungkook, who was leaning against the door, was deep in thoughts. He couldn't get himself used to this side of Y/n. After all, all his attempts to make her hate him were in vain.

There are so many things he wants to tell her. There are so many things he wants to ask her. There are so many things he wants to do to her.

There are so many things he wants her to do to him.

But something's holding him back. He's afraid. Afraid to go near her, afraid to love her, afraid to hurt her, afraid to blame himself because of that.

But this sudden change in their relationship is making him feel something, something special. Some kind of force that he cannot oppose. Some special feeling that he can't fight against. Hope. It's giving him hope.

Hope to love her again. Hope to be with her. Hope to forget about everything that he had done and move on. Hope to have her. Hope to make her his.

But his fear is still much more bigger than this hope.

He knows one day or other she'll know the truth. He or her mom, both of them can't hide it forever. And that's what scares him. He's afraid that she wouldn't see him as now. She'll change. He will lose her yet again.

That's what holding him back.

"What about his daily life? He lives alone?" Y/n asked another question. Jimin was being careful with his answers. He would only tell her the things he and Jungkook can afford to let her know.

"Yes, he lives alone. He has a mom whose in Busan. He and his mom used to live here in Seoul but then his mom wanted to leave Seoul. Jungkook didn't want that. He didn't leave with her." Jimin gave her a glimpse of the sad story of Jungkook and his mom. They don't talk anymore.

"Hmm." Y/n hummed in response. She tilted her head as another question came to her mind. "What about food? He can cook?" She asked astonished. Jungkook can cook, not in a million years. It has nothing to do with his cooking skills. Cooking food for himself saddens him. He just doesn't like that feeling. Eating alone, all by himself in grief is already enough.

"He's a terrible cook. He can't even boil an egg properly." Jimin laughed. Y/n narrowed her eyes as said in a raspy voice, almost growling, "It's nothing to laugh about."

Y/n did not like the fact that Jimin was laughing not because he was making fun of Jungkook but it was more like she was worried. She was worried, if Jungkook doesn't know how to cook then he eats outside food every day?

"Does he eat Junk food every day?" She asked Jimin in a concerning tone. "What? No. He can't eat Junk food. He has a list of things he has to eat according to his diet. Have you not seen his build-up muscles? Of course, they aren't from cheeseburgers." Jimin said which made Y/n calm down a bit.

"So you said he lives alone? Doesn't he feel lonely?"

This was it. Jungkook was losing control outside. He wants to hug her right now, right at the moment. It's not the first time he's having this urge. He wanted to hug her every time he saw her, he wanted to hug her when he first saw her after the incident, he wanted to hold her when he saw her crying in the park that was even before he transferred to her school.

Not to mention but he wanted to hold her tight in her arms when he saw her in that robe. Only if Y/n hadn't closed the door right away.

But this time it was different. It was more like he has to hold her.

He has to.

And,

He will.

He opened the door right away, taking both Jimin and Y/n by shock. Of course, Y/n was more shocked than  Jimin was. At least he knew he was there all this time.

Y/n, being smart, understood the situation. She knew he heard it all. She didn't want him to know. She had a plan, a different plan which was ruined.

"I haven't forgotten about the bet." She said defensively which did not exclusively affect Jungkook. He knew it was the time for her to be honest. He knew she lied.

As soon as he came enough close to her, his right hand snaked her waist as the left made its way to her head and made it lean against his shoulder.

Jimin slightly cleared his throats as he left closing the door.

"Fuck the bet. I have you, now."
