"we should get ready."
"we should,"
y/n agreed as she kept her head still to aaron's chest.
he let out a soft chuckle then pressed a kiss to the top of her head,
beginning to trace circles against her lower back.
"come on. we're going to be late."
y/n sat up in the bed and stared down at aaron with a small smile to her lips.
"why are you looking at me like that?"
"like what?"
aaron asked with a hint of a childish tone.
"like that."
"i don't know,"
he teased while using his thumb to caress the gentle skin against her cheek.
y/n smiled into his grasp then began kissing the inside of his palm,
watching while he adored her from his seat.
soon,
the two pried themselves away from one another long enough to get ready for the wedding of david rossi.
when they returned to one another,
aaron was so overcome with adulation for the girl that he felt rather weak in the knees.
if she weren't there to strengthen him with the brush of her lips against his own,
he might've fallen after all.
despite his hard exterior,
aaron found his heart softened from the love y/n provided;
their love could only be described as it would be in the phase of honeymoon,
except the feeling would last them forever.
"you look beautiful."
"thank you, my love. you look just as dashing."
y/n jokingly fixed his already perfect tie then laid a kiss to his chin,
beginning to head out of the door and to the wedding.
upon their arrival,
love was hanging in the air along with the sweet scent of union between the two.
aaron and y/n both felt themselves become filled with the loveliest of feelings which would soon carry them throughout the night.
aaron wiped her tears as she began crying throughout the ceremony,
and y/n squeezed his hand in return.
their love had no boundaries;
their communication could be translated into the smallest of touches,
which was only one of the million things aaron admired about his y/n.
"are you having a good time?"
"of course. it's so beautiful."
aaron kissed y/n's temple then nodded in agreement.
"do you want to dance?"
aaron asked with his palm facing up.
y/n giggled,
set her glass of chardonnay down,
and laced their fingers together as an answer.
as they began swaying back and forth together,
perfectly in tune and balance with one another,
aaron felt his cheeks become sore from smiling so much.
seeing the dress sweep at her feet,
the color of it kissing her skin tone in the most perfect way possible,
her smile bright and true,
aaron realized he had never felt so in love before.
it was here that he began to imagine marrying y/n.
they both once agreed marriage was never in the books for them,
considering their horrible history with it,
but here they were:
two years passing,
and a swelling love that seemed to make them whole.
"even forever doesn't seem like enough time with you."
y/n giggled and laid her head to his chest.
"don't get clingy on me, aaron."
the two laughed together as one.
"but, i agree. i think forevermore sounds better, right?"
"forevermore,"
aaron repeated,
the word soothing the worry of possible separation between the two.
he couldn't explain it;
every minute without y/n was a minute he figured was wasted.
sure,
they worked together,
but the two became so engulfed into their work that they hardly made time for leisure activities.
their work ethic had been what drew them together after all.
now,
here they stood,
entwined together with no intentions of ever breaking apart.

y/n let out too loud of a laugh as they entered the apartment,
making her quick to cover her mouth and try to muffle it.
but aaron wanted nothing more than to bask in the remnants of her drunken laugh.
"you're so stoic,"
she began with a snicker,
pressing small kisses to his lips in between.
even though she'd recoiled into her drunken college act,
aaron found humor in it.
"but i love it. because i love you."
"then you'll be pleased to know i love you, too."
y/n smiled with satisfaction then ran her hands through his hair slowly.
"i don't think...i don't think i'll ever love someone like i love you."
behind her glossy eyes,
aaron could see a shred of doubt.
he pondered them for a minute then kissed her for a fraction of reassurance.
she melted into him,
feeling her core become tight with vigor,
then pulled back as he whispered,
"you'll never have to. you've got me from now until the end."
y/n smiled and nodded,
indulging into another kiss that made his blood warm.
the two finally laid in the bed that night,
dressed in their usual night attire after an hour of them dancing some more and falling over in a bout of laughs,
and felt peace fall upon them for the first time in their hectic lives.
they were happy,
content,
and bubbling over with the excitement of their love.
aaron had no doubt in his mind:
he was going to marry y/n l/n.
he didn't know when,
but all that mattered was the convicted resolution he'd come to.
as she nestled to his chest,
her eyes fluttering shut,
he kissed her temple like he'd done so many times today,
and said,
"forevermore, my love. forevermore."
y/n traced a soft circle to his chest and let the words fall from her lips in return,
"forevermore."
