Eden dashed down the stairs, nearly knocking Crowley over who was also making his way down the stairs.

"Oi, steady on!" Crowley chuckled. This wasn't the first time he had nearly been knocked over like a domino.

"Sorry Daddy!" Eden said as she stopped in her tracks, helping her Daddy brush the wrinkles out of his black robe.

"You excited about the carnival Queenie?" He had been looking forward to the carnival for months, eager to have some quality time with Eden. She had been spending more and more time with Archangel Gabriel, and the demon only got to spend time with her during her time at the bookshop, which wasn't long enough in his opinion.

"Uh huh." Eden beamed. "I could also smell bacon..." without another word, Eden made a dash for the kitchen.

"No fair!" Crowley exclaimed, his mouth twisting into a grin as he raced after Eden. "I wasn't ready!"
