Yours Truly (I)

Dear You...

I understand this makes me seem like a coward

But I'd rather be than tire you up

Thinking I'm moving forward

I can't strive for the moon

Yet be dreaming about the stars

What I have for you

Can be said to be something

That shutters the moment one opens his eyes.

So where do I begin

To say you're unlike anyone I had ever seen

Steady yet vulnerable from within

Crazy yet your presence creeps me up, slips me in

Before I know it, you suspend me keen

You inspire many

Yet you  fail to aspire to your own dreams

You have acquired a pensive life

Yet you've hardly lived a single day of your life

So where precisely do I begin

All this time you've been around me

Yet my hearts failed to see

Until I noticed that our opposition

Was beyond aspects of a competition

That the look that you gave me

Was more than a ruthless aggression

For they say girls tend to act frail

When they're around someone they really admire

As for you

You showed so much strength

That I wondered what wrong had I done to you

Or what good you wish me to do for you
