They say time heals
Only because they don't know
How it feels
They say having company will mend me
Only because they don't know
Who actually broke me
Only if they knew
That my wish was to know
That for each second
The lights get darker
Hearts get weaker
And chances get fewer
I followed my heart
To see where it will take me
But I found myself filled in your arms
That I forgot the first dream of mine
To learn to love
And tell an honest lie
Yet the urge to discover Possessed my being
It saw through my eyes
It walked with my feet
And carried a knife
That tore mercilessly my heart apart
There is no one to blame
Except I failed to fall asleep
And counted the sheep
Instead of talking to the shepherd
