The sunlight slowly faded into pools of dark blue and black, swallowing up the bright scenery and turning it into night. The great empire of Venera fells into a warm peaceful night, only dusting the city with spots of street lights.

While his empire wiggled its way under the duvet for the night, Jimin stayed at the hospital throughout the day. It would be an understatement to say that it was horrifying for him. For almost 8 hours, Jimin have been through hell and back with the constant beeping, screaming and rushing around the room Venus is in. 

It took her 5 hours just to deliver her baby, two hours longer than average first birth, and another 3 hours to keep her life intact. She have gone flatlined on the doctors twice while they struggled to stop the blood lost. The cry of the baby had stopped once as it gasped for air and turned purple. They worked around the clock to keep both the baby and the mother alive but it seemed like Venus was in constant critical condition and fighting for her live. 

While it was hectic in the room, Jimin took in all the pain and suffering his wife was going through and unknowingly turned into rage. He begged to see her but they couldn't afford to have more chaos in the room while the doctors fought to save her. Jimin couldn't see anything of her nor did he know what was going on but he knew one thing for sure. That baby of their was the cause of her pain.

Jimin tried not to think much of the baby but every scream she let out instantly put him into murderous mode, dying to get his hands on that baby for a bad reason. Every time a doctor rushes out to get blood bags, they would only tell Jimin to wait and that she's fine but he knew she was far from doing fine. Taehyung have informed everyone not to entertain the young ruler knowing how Jimin would burst into raging flames if he knew she went flatlined twice.

Now, Jimin could only wait. He have been sitting with ears against his palms, wavering eyes staring at the ground while breathing heavily. He was hanging onto the last thread of sanity to not take down his right-hand men and barge into the room. Not to mention that little voice in his head that was telling him to end that small baby cry in the room. He was slowly edging towards crashing that insignificant life for putting his wife in such awful situation.

But Jungkook was there. He was told to hold the ruler in his place and so he did. Jungkook tied one of Jimin's ankle to the leg of the chair and kept a plan of literally sitting on the shorter man if he ever tried to run into the room. Being muscularly heavy has it's perk. 

After 8 hours of hell, the room gradually became quiet and only a soft beeping and whimpers of the baby can be heard. Jimin snapped his head up at the eerie silence, so did Taehyung and Jungkook. The anticipation caused a heavy tension on their shoulders as they're dying to know what happened. Sweat began to gather around their foreheads and palms, heartbeat increased uncomfortably and throat dried of saliva. 

Just then, the door slide open, revealing a team of doctors and nurses. They were all panting, eyes red, body hunching from exhaustion as if they just went to war. "She's-", one of the doctors spoke through his rough throat and everyone held their shaky breath, "she's fine. Despite going flatlined twice, Mrs Park came back to consciousness and we managed to stabilize her blood pressure too", said the doctor as he took off his mask. 

Jimin didn't let the doctors exit before he rushed straight into the room but the doctor grabbed him by his elbow with a worried expression, "sir, about your child-". The desperate young ruler yanked his arm away and glared at the doctor, "I don't care", Jimin coldly replied before turning away, shocking everyone at the doorway. He didn't even spare the purple faced baby in the nurse's arms, almost as if he had completely discarded his title as a father. He kept no space in his mind for his baby and went straight towards his wife instead.
