CHAPTER THIRTY EIGHT
B E N N Y's pov

THE SOFT SUN just barely peaked up from wherever it had gone to sleep. In the air was a waft of mist and the soft, green freshly cut grass held just a light coat of dew.

Strolling along the concrete pathway, my hand lightly held another. It was familiar and soft, perfectly fit into mine.

My gaze though, held onto the cement road. And after a few moments of walking, the hand that was held into mine gently tugged.

I slowed my pace and looked over to see a grave marker. I slightly nodded my head in understanding, slowly following and sitting onto the grass.

My eyes, examined the grave. The stone was of a black and imprinted was a familiar photo. Along aside it, was engraved a name and a few details following.

After a moment of stillness, in a softened tone, Thalia who sat next to me spoke, "Hi Dad"

She took a moment to clear her throat and continued, "I miss you, you know? Mom.. Andrew"

She now looked at me and when seeing the light coat of gloss in her eyes I gave her a soft smile. With that, she went on. "I hope you're going ok up there.."

A silence now fell, and my gaze remained on her while she stared at the grave. After a moment she piped, "Benny? Can I ask you something?"

I nodded, though she wasn't looking at me. Either way she continued, "You never told me.. what happened in that dream. Did it all come true?"

Now she looked at me and I smiled, slowly nodding my head. "Yeah.. it did"

It did in fact come true. After waking up from my small, but life changing dream. Thalia, of course wasn't instantly in love with me like I was. In fact, her and Phillips did date after it. Of course, I followed along and dated Emily for a bit. Wasn't long. Though surprisingly they lasted a bit longer, unlike my dream. And once they broke it off left it to just her and I, and finally after much waiting we started dating.

Although, I couldn't help but interfere just a bit. With Emily and Thalia. There was no way I was going to let what happened there actually happen. But, for some reason it still somewhat did. After her dad passed.

And unlike my dream, I never got to meet him. He didn't come back to visit and died in a plane, but passed by a illness. Of course, not even being able for both her and I too see him only crushed her even more. But, even though I hadn't met him I felt as if.. I had. In my dream I suppose, and that one talk we did have together in there of course stuck, was imprinted in my mind.

She did have too move, and once coming back she wasn't alright. She did want to take a break, and of course Shaun had come back. But somehow, although I knew what would happen I couldn't help but be.. salty, fine I'll say it. Over them two. That was oddly unpreventable.

One thing that didn't occur though, was the pregnancy. But, for some reason I was alright with it. We got to live out the rest of our teenage years together, adding a baby that wouldn't have been able to happen, so I guess it worked out.

She shook her head and cracked a smile. Her pretty smile. "Wow.. so what. Are you some physic or something?"

"Guess so" I shrugged.
