"Tum mere veer hi ho... Mere veer.... Mere veeranshu " Bani said still being in the hug. Veer felt really good hearing her.

"Bani.... Sshhh... Don't cry.... Plzz don't cry... I hate your tears you know... Don't cry " Veer said patting her back. Bani sniffed a lil and moved a little away ,still holding his jacket. Veer cupped her face and wiped her tears.

"Veeranshu... "

"Ssh.... Sweetheart kuch mat bolo... Ab main aagaya hoon na... Kisiko bhi tumhaare aas paas  batakne bhi nhi doonga... I am so sorry main nhi tha toh tumhein kitna kuch sehna pada... I am so sorry... Us shakura ne tumhein kitna pareshan kiya hoga.... Tum kitni akeli pad gayi hogi... I am so sorry sweetheart... But I promise you.. I won't leave you ever... I won't.. I promise. " Veer said. Bani nodded her head.

"Bani... "

"Hmmm"

"Tumhaare patidev ne itna sajaavat kiya hain, ek baar ache se dekh toh lo... Aur khoob tareef bhi karo " Veer said. Bani smiled and looked around. For some reason she wanted to enjoy the moment.

"Bhut acha hain "

"I don't know main kya boloon.... Koi mere liye aisa kuch kabhi kiya hi nhi... Toh mujhe nhi pata ki iske badle main kya kahoon... Thank you kahoon ya kuch aur? " Bani smiled. Veer could see the pain in her eyes. He wanted to remove it from her eyes. He wanted her smile to reach her eyes.

"Bas ek baat batao veeranshu.... Tumhare saath ye sab kiya kisne... Mujhe jaanna hain"

"Aisa nhi h ki main batana nhi chahta bani... Par jab mujhe pata hain ki tum maanogi nhi "

"Maanoongi... Is baar main tumpar yaqeen karooongi. "Bani said. She wanted to know who did this and what did they gain by hurting veer.

" Jay ne kiya " Veer said. Bani closed her eyes sighing. Even though she expected it, she didn't want it to come true. Bani averted her gaze from him and looked at the candles. It was getting burnt while trying to give light. Somewhere it resembles her life.... She is trying to give others happiness, sacrificing her own.

"Why did he? " Bani asked.

"He wanted  you to be alone. He wanted to do something bad to you... He is not a good man Bani. He is double faced. If you don't believe me, it's okay I don't care.... But plzz don't believe him. He is not good for you " Veer said looking at her while her back was facing him.

"How could he... Why did he hurt you"

"Kyunki use pata hain, jab tak main tumhaare saath hoon tumhaare oopar ek karoch bhi aane nhi doonga. Shayad tum woh loti insaan ho jise ye nhi pata ki main tumse kitna pyaar karta hoon. " Veer chuckled. Bani turned to face him. She looked at him for a while.

" What else have you planned for tonight? " Bani asked . Veer was taken aback.

"I am sure tumne bhut mehnat kiya hoga... Let's talk about everything else later. Theek hain? "

"Wow gharwali.... Aaj toh bhut ache se pesh aa rhi ho... Mujhe doubt aa rha hain ki kahin ye koi doppelganger toh nhi hain " Veer winked at her and laughed.
