"PLAYERS, SHAKE HANDS!" The referee shouted from their high chair, that person being Midnight. She blew the whistle playfully, clearly having no idea how to use it and when to blow it.

Y/n and Jirou reached their arms over the tennis net, shaking hands with two other girls they were competing with, them being from y/n's General Studies class.

"So we're competing against the trouble maker!" The ginger haired girl, Gina, exhorted rudely, shaking
y/n's hand firmly—almost too firmly.

Y/n's eyes narrowed. Ah, she's the girlfriend of the dude I punched...Can't wait to kick her ass.

"G-Gina, maybe don't provoke them! It'll only make them play harder!" The short, green haired girl, Remi, whispered out of fear, weakly shaking Jirou's hand.

"Do you think they'll win, Iida?" Ochako faced the blue haired boy, all of Class 1A and other first year students standing outside the gate and watching the match prepare to begin.

"Yeah, I don't doubt it for a minute." Iida grinned, intensely watching Jirou and y/n take their positions. "They've been practicing hard all week."

"Oh, y/n is playing."

The students turned to see Shinso walk up to the gate, standing between Midoriya and Kaminari.

"SHINSO!" Kaminari gasped happily, putting his elbow on his shoulder. "It's been a while!"
