You went back to the car to get your boyfriend's phone.

He had forgotten it and asked you to go get it for him, to which you happily agreed. Your boyfriend, Soonyoung was helping you move into your new home so his arms were full of boxes. You had insisted on letting the workers do it but he wanted to do it too.

Opening the door to the car, you found Soonyoung's phone, with the black and tiger face phone case, resting on the cupholder. You quickly grabbed it, just to get a notification. It was a message from one of the members, but what caught your eye was the wallpaper.

Usually, when couples date, they have their lock screen or home screen as each other. It's just what people do. You took out your phone and compared the lock screen.

Your picture was of the two of you. You were on his back with a joyful smile and Soonyoung was also smiling. It was taken at sunset on your first anniversary in front of a Ferris wheel.

Meanwhile, Soonyoung's lock screen wallpaper was of a tiger.

If you were, to be honest, you were heavily disappointed.

You headed back to the house, where you found a Soonyoung setting down boxes in your bedroom. You handed him his phone and he thanked you.

You and Soonyoung were sitting together, on the couch, after moving everything into the house. The process had taken a stressful three months to finish.

You really didn't want to bring up the lock screen because it wasn't something that should be a big problem, but you couldn't hide your disappointment either. You let out a sigh and turned to Soonyoung, who was on his phone.

“Soonyoung, do you like tigers that much?” You asked, the words that came out of your mouth sounded harsher than you intended.

Soonyoung chuckled a bit nervously and looked up at you from his phone. “What do you mean?”

“I mean what I mean… how much do you like tigers exactly?”

Soonyoung chuckled again and ran his fingers through his hair. “Well, I just like them. Why are you asking all of a sudden?”

You looked down and your eyes caught a glimpse of his tiger-striped socks. Then, you looked up and realized that the beanie on his head had a tiger roaring embroidered into it.

“Kwon Soonyoung,” you said quietly, feeling even more upset.

For your 2nd anniversary, you two had gotten matching couple necklaces. Instead of wearing that necklace, that you were wearing, it was a necklace with a tiger emoji. From head to toe, his love for tigers only continued to blossom.

“Kwon Soonyoung,” you repeated. He was just staring at you with a frozen smile on his face. “Do you like me better or tigers?”

Feeling the air tense, Soonyoung laughed. “You, of course! Is that even a question?”

His laughter did not take away the tensing air. You knew that it was your fault that it was becoming like that but you couldn't help it. You had to tell him how disappointed you are.

“If that's the case, why don't you ever wear the necklace we got on our 2nd anniversary?” You asked, scooting to the opposite side of the couch with your arms crossed.

“Well… I'm just keeping it safe.” Soonyoung's smile slowly faded as he started to realize that you had a problem with one of his favorite things: tigers.
