"what?" you said as you were grabbing a juice box from the vending machine.
"i miss akaashiiiii!"
"he's just sick, bo," you said.
"oh hey remember when we slept at your house?" he asked.
"that was like 3 days ago." you said.
"really? well anyway, i may have cuddled akaashi a bit..." he said.
"shocker," you retorted.
"huh? was that sarcasm? you know i have trouble with sarcasm..." bokuto pouted.
you sighed, "i said that because kuroo and i saw you hugging kaashi's arm," you explained and opened your juice box.
"talking about kuroo, has he texted you?" he asked.
"kinda, why?"
"no reason," he smiled.

"were you texting kubro...?" bokuto asked while raising his eyebrows.
"yeah," you said.
"oOooOoh, it's your turn," he smirked.
"what are you talking about," you asked.
right when he was about to speak the bell rang, signaling that class was about to start.
"shit let's go!" you said and ran towards your classroom.

the school day ended and bokuto didn't have practice, so the two of you went to your house.
"y/nnnnn!" bokuto whined.
"i know, you miss akaashi," you said.
"can we visit him?" he asked.
"i- i don't know if it's a good idea," you said.
"we'll buy him snacks so he feels better!" bokuto suggested.
"fine. the convenience store is nearby, we can go there." you said.
bokuto's face lit up and skipped all the way to the store. you bought akaashi a fuzzy blanket and bokuto went all out with snacks.
"bo, he's going to get worse with all those snacks." you said.
"awww come on," bokuto pouted.
you sighed, "just two." you said.
bokuto smiled and put away all the bags he had and chose gummy bears and pocky.

the two of you were outside of akaashi's house. bokuto was holding the snacks and you were holding his blanket. you also got him a get well soon card. bokuto wanted to get one for him, but you said you'd write something and put both of your names on there, and that's what you did.
bokuto knocked on the door and akaashi's mom opened the door.
"kotaro! y/n! i'll go get akaashi!" his mom said.
"no no no!" you and bokuto flailed your hands in front of her.
"it's okay, he needs to rest. we just stopped by to give him this." you said and hinted at the blanket and snacks.
"oh, well he's in his room, if you'd like to stay a bit..?" she suggested.
you immediately saw bokuto's face light up, "if it's not too much of a bother. we won't stay long." you said.
"of course! come in!"
the two of you went in and she led you to akaashi's room.
akaashi's mom knocked, "keiji! your friends are here!" she shouted before opening the door.
akaashi was sitting on his desk chair, reading a book.
"akaashiii!" bokuto ran in and hugged him.
"h-hello bokuto," akaashi said.
"i'll be in the living room," akaashi's mom said.
"thank you," you answered before going in akaashi's room.
you gave akaashi the blanket and bokuto gave him the snacks and card. he smiled and thanked you two.

you and bokuto were now on the way to your house. you didn't stay long in akaashi's house, just giving him his stuff and talking for a bit.
"hey y/n," bokuto started.
"hm?"
"kubro's coming this weekend."
"practice match?"
"nope! we're going to the amusement park! you know the one that opened last week?"
"oh yeah!"
"you coming?"
"sure!" you smiled.
bokuto dropped you off at your house and left to his.
