After few minutes of walking in the dark streets, we finally made it to the skate park.
I don't skate, well, if ice skating counts then I have. But I've never actually rode anything like a skateboard before.
"Wanna try?" Vinnie told me as I sat down on the bench.
"Oh no, I actually don't know how to skate" I smiled and got my phone out.
"Oh come on, I'll teach you" he grabbed my hand and dragged me next to him.
"I really don't think this is a good idea" I said as I put my phone back into my back Jean pocket.
"Just stand on the board, all you have to do basically." He placed the board down on the ground and helped me step on top. "I'm gonna gently push you forward and just balance"
"I really don't think I wanna do this-" before I said anything else, Vinnie pushed me forward and just told me "just try to balance!"
I didn't fall thankfully, I managed to stop right before I collided with a tin garbage can.
"See? It wasn't that bad"
"I guess your right, but your not making me go down that." I pointed "right?" I gulped
"I'll assist you, like your going down that with out getting hurt" I playfully slapped his arm "the only scary part is going down"
"I'm scared of all the parts to this"
"Here, I'll show you" I stepped aside and let Vinnie do his trick.
He went down then up again, then repeatedly started doing some other things that seem complicated (again, not sure that they're called don't come for me)
Vinnie once again came back in front of me, quickly I flinched because he almost, very closely ran over me.
"Can we stay for a while? If you don't mind" he asked
"Sure, I'll just sit on that bench" I pointed behind me.

My eyes felt heavy as I watched Vinnie skate around, now almost 3:45 in the morning.
I went through my phone, still trying to find another TikTok to do, I took a few more minutes going through my Instagram before deciding that I would post the picture me and Vinnie took while we were walking to the skatepark.
