You're the reason why I never shut my eyes to go to sleep at night,
And it's because of you that I watch the sun take over the moon every dawn,
Whilst I sit smoking my lungs black.

I don't know who I am because the tide dragged me under again,
I'm in over my head once more and I just can't seem to escape
From the pain that won't leave me be;
No matter how many times I relieve my veins of their blood,
I will never drain their poison.

I'll continue to keep on living,
Even though I don't feel up to it,
I don't feel alright.
So I'll just carry on drinking myself to death,
As a way to cope with it,
A way to fill myself up inside, so I don't feel incomplete.

I've been losing sleep over thinking about you,
I've been growing numb from not feeling you here.
But the moon tells me I'm not alone,
And the sun says there's still time left.
But I've never been so lonely,
And the clock stopped ticking
The moment that you disappeared.

(- Rudyard Kipling wrote 'roll to your rifle and blow out your brains/ and go to your god like a solider'. John Lennon/Paul McCartney sang 'Eleanor Rigby ... Lives in a dream, Waits at the window, Wearing the face that she keeps in a jar by the door, Who is it for?' Billie Joe Armstrong sang 'I'm a conscientious objector to the war that's in my mind'. I didn't sign up for this. want to fucking die. Where did your fucking soul go? It's crushing me to think about you but I can't seem to get you off my mind.)
