Let's play a game. A game of invisibility and transparency. It's where we hide out alone and away from everybody for days on end. It's where we avoid the kitchen and the pantry. It's where we sleep in the day and awaken in the night.
Let's play a game. It's where we lock all the doors. Where we ignore when everybody calls. Where we refuse to leave the house.
Let's play a game. It's where we smother ourselves in hopes to feel some primal urge to survive. Where we sit emotionless and numb. Where we stare listlessly at the wall.
Let's play a game. It's called Being Invisible. I'm sure you've heard of it.
