You feel scared at the thought of being in a strange place surrounded by strange women who are trying to prepare you to meet Ahomse's family.

You can't believe that you want back in time, this hidden dagger under your clothes is the reason why you are here.

"What are you doing?!" you screech when one of the servants tries to undress you.

"Her highness, Ahhotep insists that we dress you properly" you frown, even though you haven't met the queen, yet her role is known in history books.

After her husband was assassinated, she encouraged her eldest son, Kamos, to fight the Hyksos, and when he died, she encouraged her son to do the same.

Apparently, You were found at the last battle between the Hyksos and Egyptians which ended in victory for the Egyptians and the defeat of the Hyksos.

"I believe I can dress myself up, but thank you for your efforts," you say with a small smile.

"As you wish"

With that, all the servants leave which made you let out a relieved sigh, relaxed that you are finally alone.

You pull the dagger from under your belt, staring at it.

"So, you are the reason why I'm here, huh?"

The thought of being to travel through time is exciting as much as it is frightening, you fear you might in the wrong time.

How does this thing even work? Do you think of a certain time and it just takes you there?

No, when you got stabbed you weren't thinking about a certain era, so this time-traveling dagger just takes you to a different time randomly.

You look at the white long cotton dress lying on the edge of your bed or what suppose to look like a bed even though it looks a bit u comfy.

If you are going to stay in this era, you have to act like you are from it.

Good thing you waxed, as Ancient Egyptian hate body hair.

The only thing left is to wear this dress and put on Kohl.

You feel exposed under the eyes of Ahmose, his mother, and his sister.

All four of you sitting at a table filled with food that can satisfy a nation.

"Tell me what is your name, girl?" Ahhotep asks softly, not in a strict manner as not to scare you off.

"My name is (Y/n), your highness" you reply politely.

"Your name sounds unique, what does it mean?" Ahmose-Nefertari asks placing a hand on her left cheek, as she smiles at you.

You immediately warm up to her,  her kind facial features are enough to make you love her.

Ahmose-Nefertari is the sister-wife of Ahmose, and you admit, she is one of the most beautiful women you have met in your life.

"My name means (the meaning of your name)" you answer again politely, but this time with a smile that matches hers.

Your eyes suddenly meet that of the pharaoh, which quickly makes you look away.

"Why so silent, Ahmose? How unusual of you"

Ahmose pulls his gaze away from you to turn them to his mother.

"It is nothing, I was just wondering if Amun has sent (Y/n) as a blessing to win the war as the prophecy says"

You furrow your brows in confusion at his response.

"Prophecy?" Nefertari nods her head excitedly.

"Yes, the high priest predicated that a woman who has the same looks at you will be in war, and therefore the war will be won"

Of course, how can you forget that the priests of Amun had predictions, those predictions were mostly just luck if they were true.

But still, how did they know about you?

"I think that's a strange coincidence" you utter out, taking a sip from your water.

"Nothing is a coincidence, (Y/n)" you gulp when Ahmose glares at you with his sharp eyes.

"Then what are you going to do with her?" Ahhotep inquires,  strangely enjoying the whole thing, as if she knows what her son is thinking.

"I will marry her" you choke on your water, before standing up in shock.

"What? No!" your burst out shocks everyone while Nefertari giggles.

"Why not?" the angry expression on Ahmose's face made you sit back down.

"What I mean is that you are already married to her beautiful highness, Ahmose-Nefertari, there is no to marry me" you explain.

"I don't mind you marrying my brother!"

Ahmose-Nefertiti giggles when you give her a look that screams 'Why did you say that'

"And I'm also courting someone, so we cannot marry" you add.

"Well, I believe he will have to give you up for the sake of Egypt,  as I'm his pharaoh"

'If Nadar heard this, he would have killed you'

"I do not wish to marry you" you finally gave a blunt brave, as you pray in your head that he doesn't kill you on the spot.

Ahmose chuckles, after taking a sip of his heket (ancient egyptian beer).

"You truly think that you have a choice in this matter, how naive"
