YO it's me, the author man himself.

I have been gone for so long holy shit, holy cow.

Let me start by saying I have been in the anderperry fandom since like 7th grade? I'm graduated and turn 20 in November lol. I'm pretty sure some of this was written senior year.

I did away with the last few chapters of this story because they didn't sit well with me. So those chapters are no longer canon. Sorry. But it sucked and I can say so cause I wrote them in a rush.

I used to love writing and it's something I don't do much anymore, which really sucks. Part of me wants to start it up again, but I don't want to make any promises I can't keep.

This story might never be updated again. And if it is updated, it will be a part two. A separate book. That book will go more into what happens after. Including Todd's rebellious behavior and public school Charlie Dalton. It will have the riots, running into Keating, running from the cops (ACAB), and of course more canon anderperry. The chapter that inspired the title baptized by boys will ALSO be included.

I'm only dipping my toes into writing again. So I thought I would start with this. It's still so surprising that there are as many reads on this as there are. Oh my GOD and the amount of edits on instagram? Y'all are so lucky. Young me would be screaming at how the fandom has grown!!! This has been my favorite movie since the moment I watched it. My senior quote was from Keating. This film means so so so much to me and I hope it means a lot to you all too.

Anyways, I know it's been awhile and if everyone has moved on from this story, completely understandable. If you want an ending, let me know. If you would rather a WHOLE NEW anderperry fic, I have PLENTY started. I'm not sure how many fics are out there now. I think I mainly wrote this for some friends I introduced the movie to lol. There used to not be a whole lot of great / readable options... Hopefully that has changed! We need some good dps fics.

Just let me know your thoughts and opinions. Should I make a baptized by boys 2 that immediately picks off? Or should I make an all new story? Maybe both? Maybe my time has come and gone and you're all like nah man there's way better fics now. And mad respect. If that's the case, guess I will focus on my own original characters / stories. Either way, I hope to get back into this hobby. It's a great outlet and I have made some great friends. Despite them all moving to archive 💀💀💀 yeah okay good luck... apparently it got better from when I was like 12 LMAO- let's HOPE it got better for their sakes. I came to wattpad years ago to get AWAY from ao3.
