Set in 1988, Welton Academy, Vermont.
Being queer in the eighties, especially in a catholic boys boarding school, might not be the most pleasant experience. The "gay plague" is making a sweep and riots are happening blocks away. While the fight for freedom continues, Todd struggles with his own boy battles.
Basically Todd finding his voice and love for life. Learning to be authentic even when the world keeps saying no. Rioting when needed and arguing more than ever. He's in love and with only one semester left.
