No one's POV:

The girl woke up to find herself in a cave, her head throbbed in pain as she touched her tear stained cheeks. She remembered what happened in her village, especially her Father. Her heart ached from the thought of never seeing him again.

Y/n looked up to see a fairy peeling an orange with a dagger. He had long, straight red hair and large, multicoloured wings. He wore baggy white pants that had dark blue butterfly scale-like patterns at the cuffs. Around his waist he wore a green sash and wore a set of black shoes.

He looked at you with a smile,
" How do you feel? "

She thought for a moment before glancing at her hands,
" Fine, I've just got a headache,"

He knelt down to her height before handing you the fresh orange. Y/n looked at orange before thanking him and took the fruit.

From that day, Y/n and Gloxinia became inseparable. He would always look after and protect her from harm, just like a big brother would.

Then one day he just vanished without a trace.

Y/n's POV
age: 17

12 years later,

You walked down the busy streets of Liones, keeping a sharp eye out for any suspicious glances. You wore a black cloak that covered your appearance, along with a brown village dress and black gloves.

The gloves were a gift from Gloxinia. He disappeared 12 years ago, leaving you to survive on your own. What angered you to the core was that he didn't even say goodbye.

You remembered showing him your power by accident, since you had no idea how to control it. He bought you these gloves to help contain it. Apparently, they were magical and had a spell on.

You were snapped out of your thoughts when you bumped into someone by accident. Your gloves came off in the process as you landed on the floor.

You looked up to see a boy with blonde hair and green eyes. Your eyes widened slightly, knowing that you've seen that face before. He held out his hand for you,
" I'm sorry, are you okay?"

You thanked him before taking his hand. He helped you up before you realised your gloves were missing. In panic, you looked around to see they were no where in sight. Noticing your distressed state, he asked if you were okay.

You sighed heavily,
" My gloves, they're missing, they were important to me,"

He thought for a moment before smiling brightly at you,
" My friend has some spare if you'd like? "

They're not magical though, are they? You thought with a sigh. It was better than nothing, so you didn't really have much of a choice.
You thanked him before following him to a small cottage outside the kingdom.

You walked in to see there was a bar, in which you figured out it was a pub. A girl around your age walked up to you both with a smile. She had long, grey hair and ocean blue eyes.

She smiled happily at her friend's presence,
" Sir Meliodas! You're back, who is the new guest?"

Meliodas responded,
" Do you have any spare gloves upstairs? If so please can you go and get them?"

She nodded before going up to grab them, leaving you and Meliodas alone. The silence was loud, making you slightly nervous. He broke the silence with a question,
" What was so important about those gloves anyway?"

You looked at him before glancing at the floor from the childhood memory,
" They were a gift from a great friend of mine, he's gone now,"

He gave you a sympathetic look before apologising for asking. He felt as if he had seen you somewhere, but shrugged it off. Elizabeth came down with a pair of leather gloves before handing them to you.

" You can keep them, they've never really been worn,"

You thanked her before glancing at the mirror that was hung on the wall behind her. Your eyes widened when you saw your eyes slowly glowing red. You grabbed the gloves in a panic before thanking them and ran outside.

Meliodas looked at were you ran in confusion, wondering what made you run away,
" I wonder what that was all about,"

He looked at Elizabeth, seeing her shocked state. He looked at her with a concerned expression,
" Are you okay?"

" I t-think I saw her eyes glow red,"
