Unexpected love

Chapter 6

Y/n's POV:

Zeldris placed you down in the middle of an eerie castle. The place wasn't a very cheerful one and the castle was just brick and cobwebs. The only think lighting it up is candles and night lights, which were enough, apparently.

You looked to the side to see all of the commandments were there, staring intensely at you, causing you to gulp nervously. You've never liked being the centre of attention.

You took a moment to process a certain red haired fairy, who was wrapped in large tentacles that were green. They almost looked like plants but not at the same time.

You felt as if time slowed down when he caught your gaze, his eyes drifting to confusion. He wondered why you felt angered and pained inside once you saw him. He can't help but feel he had met you somewhere, those E/C coloured eyes were oddly familiar.

Tears pricked your eyes, the pain of him leaving slowly returned,
" Gloxinia, What are you doing here?"

You noticed he was more confused than ever, wondering how exactly you know his name. This created a pain in your heart that you'd never thought you'd feel. Has it really been that long? You thought in despair.

You scoffed at his reaction, the pain slowly turning to anger. He left you. He left you to survive and you were only young, you had no one other than him to rely on.

" It's really been that long, huh? Think back to 12 years ago, you met a little girl in a cave. You taught her everything she needed to know for years before vanishing the next day,"

His widened once he realised who you were. You watched as his whole body tensed when he slowly emerged from his little cocoon thing. The Commandments watched in amusement and slight confusion.

" Y/n?"

You nodded, watching as he slowly walked over to you. As he was about to cup your cheek, you stepped back from the action. At this point, the commandments left to leave you two to work things out.

A tear escaped your eye, causing it to roll down your cheek,
" You left me alone for years! You never came back and you expect me to forgive you? You left me to join the commandments! "

His eyes was filled with guilt and regret as he glanced at the floor. Your words hurt him but he knew you was right. He did leave you when you needed him most and he caused this pain that had been consuming you for years.

He nodded in response,
" I know, I messed up, but I had no choice but to join. I didn't mean to leave you and I promise I never will again,"

He opened his arms out for a hug before you came running into his arms like a small child. You missed his warmth and embraces, you forgot how comforting they felt.

He hugged you tightly, wrapping the tentacles around you both in the process before gently placing you down on them. You were surprised on how comfortable they were. He made them feel like they were a bed as he kissed your forehead in a brotherly manner.

" Go to sleep, have some rest as the girls sort your room,"

You nodded before leaning against him, the warmth of his tentacles made you sleepy. You closed your eyes before falling into a heavy slumber.
