Y/n's POV:

Everyone began to battle with each other whilst you focused on Meliodas. The sins split up and fought the commandments, some splitting up in the process.

Yours and Meliodas's sword crashed as he admitted,
" Y/n, you need to understand! I had to kill yojr Father!"

" Liar!"

You punched him across the face, sending him flying into a tree. The tree fell down from the hard impact, knocking over some other trees like dominoes. Meliodas got up instantly before attacking you with his sword, before it could hit you, you snapped his wrist.

He winced at the sudden jolt of pain, causing him to drop his sword. You kicked him in the face multiple times before kicking him into another tree. He had scrapes and bruises all over his body, not to mention he had a severely broken wrist.

Before you could lay another hand on him, Zeldris stopped you. He demanded,
" Let me finish him off,"

You nodded before running towards were Gloxinia was fighting, which was only a few miles away. You saw him fighting a guy wearing tight, red lather clothes.

Before you could reach him properly and grab his attention, a woman teleported in front of you. She had short, black hair and wore a very revealing outfit. Her pink tinted lips curved upwards into a small smirk,
" You must be Y/n, I'm Merlin, it's a pleasure to meet you,"

You wanted to attack but something told you that she was dangerous and powerful. Her aura was not like the others, it was more mysterious and powerful.

She exclaimed,
" You're a powerful woman, it's a shame it's been wasted on you. I've found your weakness and it may be the only thing capable of stopping you. I'm sorry for this",

She sounded emotionless and unfazed as she created a dagger that emerged from mid air. It was as black as midnight with a sharp, shiny blade. You got on your guard, ready to dodge or catch the attack.

She just smirked at your actions as she threw the dagger, but it wasn't at you. That's when the realisation hit you like a wave, your weakness was Gloxinia. She threw the dagger towards Gloxinia at an inhuman speed.

You used your demon speed to push Gloxinia out off the way. You both tumbled on the floor from the impact. He laughed at your action,
" Y/n, why did you do that? "

You felt an excruciating pain in your stomach, it was the worst pain you've ever felt. You felt something soak your leotard, making you slightly press against the dampness. You looked at your hand to see it was painted in blood. Your blood.

You pulled the dagger out of your abdomen, causing it to glow in the process before fading into a dim colour. Gloxinia's eyes widened as tears pricked his eyes. He looked at Merlin with fury,
" What did you do to her?!

Merlin sighed heavily,
" It's simple really, I placed a curse on her, she'll be fine for a few days. This is her problem, not yours,"

He cradled your aching body, wondering why your demonic healing wasn't working. He placed pressure on your wound as much as possible, his hands being covered in blood in the process. Tears streamed down his cheeks before using his magic to heal you, but that didn't work.

When he looked up, Merlin wasn't there. The last time he felt this angry and pained inside was the day his sister almost died, Gerheade. Meliodas ran over to you, seeing you in such a state made him feel guilty.

He hesitated with the act but did it anyway. He gave you a small bottle of purple liquid,
" This should help for a few days, "

Gloxinia quickly snatched the bottle from him with shaky hands before pouring it in your mouth, making sure not to get your blood on your face.

The liquid tastes like passion fruit as it burned your throat. You coughed into your elbow, feeling your severe wound slowly closing up. Gloxinia sighed in relief before pulling you into a tight hug.

He sobbed,
" Never do that again! My life becomes last not first!"

You chuckled weakly, shoving him in a playful manner,
" No promises,"

He rolled his eyes playfully before picking you up bridal style, knowing the hit made you exhausted. You leant against his chest, feeling your eyes grow heavy as tiredness consumed you.

You thought for a moment before looking at Meliodas with a weak gaze,
" I forgive you, "

You then fell asleep in Gloxinia's arms.

What nobody noticed that night when the battle was over was that your fingers slowly began to turn black. It looked like a virus that took its time killing you.

The curse has begun.
