Jen wakes up with her phone ringing, it's Court.
Jen: Hi baby, what happened?
Court: Hi honey! Were you still sleeping?
Jen: Yes? Yesterday was a long day, I was exhausted and as I don't have any commitments today, I decided to sleep more.
Court: There was no commitment, let's have lunch together today: me, you and Lisa, what do you think?
Jen: I think it's great, see you guys later.
Court: Okay, bye.
Meanwhile, David is in his house, he was awake for a long time and very thoughtful. Needing to talk to someone, he calls Lisa.

David: Hey Lisa, can you talk now?

David: Well me and Jen had a photo shoot yesterday because of the movie and all the people who were there said amazing things to us and... It just made me more sure that she is the love of my life and that I want to spend every day of my life, until the end, with her.
Lisa: You and Jen were born for each other, you're kindred spirits and it's so beautiful the way you talk about her and the love you feel for her. But why are you telling me all this?
David: I can't wait to sleep anymore and wake up every day with Jennifer by my side, live with her every hour of my day. Lisa, we've waited over 20 years, I don't want to and I won't wait any longer!
Lisa: David, are you trying to tell me that...
Lisa stops talking when David interrupts her.
David: Yeah I thought a lot and I'm going to ask Jen to marry me!
Lisa gets emotional and excited just on the other end of the line.
Lisa: Oh my God, David! How happy I am to hear this. You're right, you've waited too long to be together, why wait any longer? Do you have any idea how you're going to do it?
David: Not yet, but I have some ideas and when I make up my mind you'll be the first to know!
Lisa: I can't wait!!! Well, I gotta go now, I have lunch with Court and his future wife.
David: Really? Lisa, we didn't have this conversation. Jen can't suspect anything.
Lisa: She won't! It's our secret. Bye bye.
Some time later, the girls are at Court's house and Jen notices that Lisa is very smiling, very happy.
Jen: Did something special happen to make you so happy?
Lisa: Being with you is always a source of great happiness for me!
Jen: Yes, but today is different.
Court: Jen is right, her happiness is different today.
Lisa: Shall we stop this? I'm happy yes, do I need a specific reason for this?

Lisa says but wanting to tell her what she and David said on the phone, but she couldn't. The girls talk for a while, drink wine and return to their homes. When Jen gets home, she sees that she has 4 calls from David and she returns to him.
Jen: Hi honey, sorry I didn't answer you, it's just that I got so distracted with Court and Lisa that I forgot my phone.
David: no problem baby, how was lunch?
Jen: It was wonderful! Lisa was happier than usual, Court and I thought it was weird, but she said she has nothing to tell.
David: really? She woke up in a good mood today, that must be it.

David smiles because he knows Lisa is happy that way from the marriage proposal.

They hang up and David starts to think about how, when, and where he's going to propose. He has several possibilities in his head, but he discards a few and takes two.
He tells himself: “One of them won't need to leave here, but the other does.” After much thought, David chooses the second option, decides the day and now all that's left is to buy the ring.

Lisa: David, this is so beautiful and so romantic!

David: of course, thanks! It will take me a few days to sort all this out, it's going to be difficult getting to know Jen, she notices everything, when something is different. Well I'm going, I have to start preparing everything and start looking for the ring. Kisses and thanks again!
David does some research, until he finds the place he already knew and was perfect for the proposal.
He spends two hours there, doing research and calling, everything has to be perfect. He manages to resolve two things, when someone calls for him at the door, it's Jen's voice. David is startled and closes the computer, the ipad and goes to her.
David: Hi honey, what a surprise to see you here!!
Jen: you look scared, are you ok?
Jen says hugging David who brings her inside.
David: I'm surprised to see you here and so happy too!!
David says and they kiss passionately.
Jen: Have you resolved your very serious matter?
David: a part of him, still missing... things.
Jen: Won't you tell me anyway?
Jen says giving David several little kisses on the neck and face.
David freezes and stares at Jen smiling and caressing her face, thinking about her marriage proposal.
Jen: Hey, won't you say anything?
David: Sorry honey, you just hypnotize me for how beautiful you are. But what I can tell you is, it will be worth it in the end, trust me.
Jen: I trust you love!
They smile at each other, kiss and spend the rest of the day together.
