Jen and David cleaned the entire house. They took out the rest of the candles they had already extinguished, cleaned the petals, washed the breakfast dishes, and are now curled up in an armchair.
Jen: Honey, now that this house is ours, we could change all of its decor.
David: Do what you want baby, I support you!
Jen: Thank you baby!!
Someone knocks on the door and Jen and David already know who it is.
David: It must be her!
Jen smiles saying yes.
Jen: come in, it's open!
She opens the door and sticks her head inside, smiling.
David: Hi Lisa, welcome to our secret place!
Jen: welcome!
Lisa: so secret it was hard to get here! Everything you asked for is there in the car. I just didn't understand why so many things, from what I understand you'll only be here on the weekend, right?
Jen: There's just one thing we haven't told you yet.
Lisa: what?
David: This house is ours now!
Lisa: This is wonderful! It really is a beautiful place. Now, I need help bringing all this. But first, let me see this ring!
Jen reaches out and Lisa takes her hand.
Jen: I thought you already saw it.
Lisa: David didn't show me, the only thing I didn't know. He said the first woman who saw the ring was you and he was very right. He is perfect and unique, really beautiful. David got everything right.
Jen: It was the most beautiful and amazing night of my life!
She looks at David who kisses her on the forehead, they give her a peck and Lisa looks at them both with a lot of admiration.
Lisa: You two are the most beautiful couple there is. Millions of other couples may come, none of them will be like you. I've never seen a love like yours and if I could give you the best couple award, I would!
David: you are our best friend!
Jen: yes!
Lisa: I'm not the only one who thinks that, you know very well!
They go to the car and carry everything into the house. In the car again, they say goodbye to Lisa.
David: Thank you so much for coming here Lisa to bring all of this to us.
Jen: Thank you so much dear!
Lisa: friend is for these things! I am here for you, always.
They hug and Lisa leaves. David had already seen that Jen got weird all of a sudden and started looking around when Lisa was still there.
David: Baby, what happened?
Jen: Nothing, I'm fine.
David: Jennifer...
Jen: I don't know, you'll think I'm crazy, paranoid.
David: Never! You can talk to me about everything!
Jen: What if someone followed Lisa? I have a weird feeling.
David: Do you think someone is here?
Jen nods yes.
Jen: I just want a few days of quiet, peace.
David: What if we change our clothes and walk down this trail?
David says pointing to a path near them.
Jen: come on!!! Sorry to break the mood with this subject.
David: nothing broke dear, stop!
David strokes Jen's face and they stand for a few minutes, change their clothes and go for a walk. During the walk, Jen still feels uncomfortable, feels like someone is watching them, but doesn't say anything. She and David exchange caresses, kisses and hug each other all the time. After almost 2 hours, they return home, take a shower and David goes to prepare dinner for the two of them.
Jen: Want me to help you?
David: No. You just sit there and I'll make you dinner tonight, my love.
Jen watches David cook and smiles, thinking how much she is the luckiest woman in the world that David chose her to be her partner for life. David takes a bottle of white wine from the cellar to use in the recipe he's making and for them to drink too. He hands Jen the wine glass, gives her a peck, and goes back to cooking.
Jen: I love you!
She says smiling and David looks at her.
David: I love you more!
While waiting, Jen takes out her Ipad and opens it to see if there's anything new. She looks at the news, talks to David about what she's reading. Since the time they got back from the walk, it had been almost 3 hours and Jen was still watching the news, when suddenly her smile turns into a face of disappointment.
Jen: I KNEW, I KNEW!!!!!
David is startled by Jen's tone of voice.
David: what happened?
Jen: Didn't I tell you? Come see this.
David comes over and takes the iPad from Jen's hand and when he sees he looks at her and realizes how much that bothered her. The news headline reads: "Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer isolated from the world" and several photos of them during the walk and before it too, including with Lisa. The news shows a photo of Jen's hand with the engagement ring and says she is getting married for the third time! They even put in how much the ring cost and according to David, they hit the exact price.
David: my love, don't be like that, it breaks my heart.
David wipes the tear from Jen's eyes.
Jen: Our family and friends have found out that we're getting married for the press and not for us.
David pulls Jen up and hugs her tightly and she leans her head on him as he strokes her head.
Jen: I should be used to it by now, but I'm not made of iron. I feel, it hurts, I cry, I'm human.
David: And you have every right to feel that way, honey. Look at me... No one wants them to find out about their engagement that way. If you like, we'll go home tomorrow.
Jen wipes away her tears.
Jen: No!!!!! We stay here until Sunday! They've already told everyone before us, but they won't enjoy this moment between the two of us, let's keep living that magical night until the end!
They kiss passionately.
David: You are the most amazing woman I have ever met in my entire life. Glad I found you and fell in love with you 27 years ago.
Jen: I already said that but I will love you forever.
David: I love you.
Jen: I love you.
Jen and David kiss again, touch their foreheads and live that moment as if it were the last of their lives.
