Chapter 35: Making Her Remember

"2018."

Everyone got shocked with what Seulgi said..

The doctor gulped and looked at Irene...

"Ms. Bae, come with me..." The doctor said and motioned to Irene...

The girl quickly followed not before sparing a glance to the glaring bear...

She gulped as well because of how bad it looked...

The doctor led her outside and spoke, "Ms. Bae, I'm afraid to tell you, but your fiance has selective memory loss, she only remembers events that happened before 2018, you'll have to find a way to make her remember everything that happened after those years.."

Irene was expecting those words after she heard Seulgi's replies to every question...

She only nodded and they both went back inside after discussing other stuff about Seulgi's condition and discharge...

"Ms. Kang, are you sure that it's 2018 right?" the doctor once again asked..

Seulgi nodded without hesitation...

Irene looked at the others and saw that Wendy looked devastated...

Of course Wendy is, she's been through this the first time when Seulgi lost her memories before..

She knows how hard it is to work with Seulgi especially in her 2018 mindset, she was extra stubborn during those years..

"Alright, I guess I'll say this to everyone now, Ms. Kang is suffering from selecting memory loss, meaning that she only remembers moments from that year and before... Ms. Kang, I need you to try your best to remember everything, these people around you will help you remember anyways, so I need you to cooperate with them, especially to your fiance.."

"I told you, I'm single, I'm not engaged to anyone, doc!" Seulgi said, the doctor knows nothing about Irene and Seulgi's relationship other than being engaged...

Irene's heart broke into more pieces as Seulgi insisted that she wasn't engaged to anyone...

The doctor said and gave Irene the paper of Seulgi's medicine and other things that he need her to know..

The nurses took the straps off Seulgi and they left..

Once they left, Seulgi immediately stood up and took off the wires connected to her...

"Seul, where are you going?" Irene asked..

Seul looked at her and glared before speaking, "None of your business.." She said in a cold tone..

She then went out and left the others inside the room..

Seulgi went straight to the dormitory and found her room..

She looked through the cabinets to find no suits but some random clothes that she probably owns...

She grabbed a pair of clothes and took a bath...

After she changed her clothes, she immediately went out and rushed to the armory...

She grabbed one of the car keys and went to the parking lot before unlocking the car and leaving...

"Hyunnie, don't worry, we'll get Seul back to normal, we'll do everything alright?" Wendy comforted as Irene cried and cried..

They were now in a cafe across Seul's penthouse..

"What if she doesn't?" Irene wept while they were all comforting her..

"She will, unnie, she'll always find her way to you.." Jisoo said as she reassured Irene...

They calmed Irene down before discussing plans on how to make Seulgi remember...

"One thing's for sure, we can't count on Irene to make Seul remember.. Well it's not because of Hyunnie, but because of Seul, 2018 was probably the year where she really hated everyone around her.." Wendy explained..

"Yeah, I remember she was all stubborn and all, especially when she went through this that year..." Lisa muttered..

"She had memory loss too before?" Yeri asked as she fed Minjeong, who knew nothing and just ate peacefully...

"Yeah, when she woke up in a coma, she was diagnosed with selective memory loss again but it wasn't that severe because she only lost a few memories and was able to remember most of it in like 7 months.." Moonbyul mentioned...

All of them nodded in response, so Moonbyul decided to change the topic, "Alright, so what do we do?"

"I honestly don't know.." Wendy said...

"How about we take her to places where she went throughout the 5 years she forgot?" Jeongyeon suggested..

"That's a good idea, but how are we gonna remember every place she went to?" Nayeon asked...

"We look through her records in the agency, she often uses that black audi and the agency keeps track of every place every agent goes to.." Lisa said..

"Alright, we'll do that, but if we're doing that do we have to like travel around the globe as well? Seul also went to missions, right?" Rose asked...

"Well, I guess we'll make her remember memories here in Korea first before we make her remember her trips in other countries, or maybe we can use the things she brought back here to make her remember those trips..." Wendy said...

"Alright we have a solution to the first problem, now what do we do for the second one?" Moonbyul asked...

"What do you mean second?" Solar asked...

"Irene and Minjeong, that's the second problem, Seul will probably push them away no matter how hard we insist that they're her family..." Moonbyul explained...

"Right.." Everyone else muttered..

"There is saying that 'The brain may forget, but the heart will remember'.." Wendy smirked as she got an idea in mind...

"What do you mean, Wan?" Joy asked as she looked at the older beside her..

"Simple, we need to make her jealous in the process of getting her memories back.." Wendy explains briefly...

"Huh?" Everyone asked..

Wendy sighed and explained, "We need to pair up Irene unnie with a man or a woman then make Seulgi jealous and she'll probably cause a fuss and might end up remembering.."

Everyone mouthed an 'oh' as she explained..

"But who do we pair up with unnie?" Jennie asked..

"I know exactly who..." Irene suddenly spoke..

Everyone turned to her and asked, "Who?"
