What I do not trust
is people forgetting their past.
Because everyone who don't learn its lessons,
the ones who choose to live hiding
of what it can unfold,
are going to replay the game they lose
every time they start to change,
to get cocky
or to act like they're bold.
The people who don't learn from their path
are going to repeat what they are loath
to face,
many times in forms they loathe
with all their hearts.
Don't forget or dismiss your story.
Unless you want to make history
in every way possible,
and each worse than the last.
So, my advice is this:
Acknowledging your live may not help
solving it,
but it certainly doesn't hurt.
Not at all.
En lo que no confío
es en la gente que olvida su pasado.
Porque todos los que no aprenden
sus lecciones,
los que eligen vivir escondidos
de lo que puede revelar
van a volver a jugar el juego
que perdieron
al empezar a cambiar,
volverse engreídos
o actuar como si fueran valientes.
Las personas que no aprenden
de su camino
Van a repetir lo que no quieren
afrontar,
Muchas veces en formas que detestan
con todo su corazón.
No olvides ni descartes tu historia.
A menos que quieras hacer historia
de todas las formas posibles,
cada una peor que la anterior.
Entonces, mi consejo es este:
Reconocer tu vida puede no ayudarte
a resolverla,
pero ciertamente no hace daño,
no duele.
Para nada.
