Too much information can take the wonder out of a thing.

But here's beauty and wonder in true knowing

I live for that moment when things fall into place

 I'm a codex being unscrambled,

my numbers and letters

and symbols rearranged,

my secrets showing,

my entire word changed,

my whole being shaped

into a message that makes sense

to a world that can't accept

the goddamned differences.

I needed to know how it worked,

the real reason you learned all those tricks.

But you would not tell me

not even in my dreams.

You can read all those books

 and I can marvel at you.

But all that is not going to change the fact

that you are all I am going to want.

So be it.

Say the word and I'll leave it broken.

But you don't wanna be mistaken

No, I can't say I know you, but I have always wanted to.

Just let it be until tomorrow,

just let us be, just for an hour.

I didn't know what makes you that way you are,

but don't worry, now I know, I'll try to understand.

Even if they're all monsters

I could not have behaved well,

because you are still inside my head

and I carry your shadow and emerald glory.

Trick me if you want, but I won't quit.

Hush, hush, it's so crowded.

Just what it seems, I am so worried.

Thank me for it, later unfolded.

Mr. Mischief, make me your story.

I thought you wanted to believe,

so I'll show you what magic really is, dear.

Am I that bad of a captain?

Truly,

I fancy,

you're right.

Guiding the ship

is far from easy.

But I have only

words to make it reality.

So, if power is within,

let's modify the saying.

Astonishing is right here,

where you can let your eyes close

and open your mind to the impossible.

I don't know who you are,

But I'm sure you're (on) fire,

and I, silvertongued,
