We walked through some long corridors and entered in a huge dining room with two kids already sitting in the table, the older one was building a robot while the younger one was clearly trying not to sleep, which was funny and cute

"Uki, leave your mother alone and be nice to our guest"now that the kid actually looked up, his eyes scanned me and he looked embarrassed
"Sorry..."
"Is okay, don't worry!"After that, I helped older me prepared the table as Mei served the kids which I finally discovered their name, Uki and Shia.
Shia is the youngest, she is a really sleepy and moody girl but she likes to feed her mind wit information because of her quirk, the girl is a carbon copy of Mei's face and even got some of my analyses skills, she doesn't like building robots but she loves hacking and studying, gathering information, two of my specialties. Mean while,
Uki is the mix of both of the parents, he loves building robots just as much or even more that we do, he has the talent and has a similar quirk to Mei's, he is ten and has the best grades of his class, he is a curious child and a very electric one, he is sentimental and full of hope and dreams.
Uki is ten and Shia is about six, I even discovered that me from this timeline is a thirty five years old man and Mei is a thirty four years old woman.
It is amazing how this dinner felt like family, I missed this warm feeling, I really did, I missed sitting in a table without worrying with what I had to say because I didn't want to be left alone, it just felt so, I don't know, right....
Mei's POV-
Today was an interesting day, one that I thought that it would be normal but clearly I was wrong. My morning started after my husband had already woken up, I was teaching Uki how to build a nuclear bomb using a fridge while I held Shia with my free arm, she was really sleepy and sleepy equals bad mood so she decided to be a pain in the ass and not want to go down to the floor.
As I said before, I was hoping that we could have a normal day, that until my beautiful husband asked me to get the medical kit because we had a guest, welp, he always said it was good to have dreams.
When I saw my husband looking at an empty futon, I finally remembered what was happening today, so I decided to get to my work, I helped him preparing the room and some food while he fixed his younger version, the kids entered the room and eventually woke up the poor child, fortunately Izu was able to take care of it putting him back to sleep.
After that, we got his watch and updated it, nice experience, it brought back some memories from my younger age...
When we put the watch back in his wrist, I thanked myself for not allowing my kids to come in because their father was full of now bandaged burns and bruises that unfortunately were still visible, his hair was a mess, clearly have been neglected for weeks but that wasn't the worst part, no, the worst part was the fact that the boy was covered from head to toe with blood, everywhere, from single drops to a whole stain, he looked like one of those horror movie characters! The most terrifying part though was I am sure that the blood didn't come from him...
'How many did my husband kill?'
When I left the room, I felt uneasy, how could I stop loving him, he is the man of my life, but still, I wish I was aware of this dark past, I want to know how did he get all those bruises and burns, why did he decided to time travel in the first place!
"Mommy, what's wrong?"I looked down to see my daughter and my son looking at me worry
"Oh hunny, nothing is wrong, I was just worried about the visitor" Uki's face became unreadable
"I-is he bad?" oh...
"Oh darling no, the teen is not bad, the problem is that the person that is lying there is the younger version of your father and unfortunately he didn't look good..."
Panic
"IS DADDY HURT?!" Asked a mild awake Shia that was already crying as she started holding her brother's T-shirt
"No hunny, daddy is okay, is just that the younger version of him, mini daddy is hurt, do you think that you can make him feel better at dinner with one of your big smiles?"
"Yeah!"
They both answered making me feel warm inside, my real babies, my family, the little decisions that I wouldn't change for anything.
