elizabeth stayed hidden for a few reasons. the trauma of the war and paranoia it brought to the point where she decided to stay locked in her London apartment in order to keep her nephew, Harry Potter, safe. But when Dumbledore visits 13 years later to inform her that her nephew is going to die in less than a year, a new quest is brought forward- a new reason. rather than hiding in her apartment, elizabeth is sent to hogwarts to teach under a hidden alias, to keep watch of her nephew. at the same time, she reconnects with remus lupin, her best friend, and sirius black, her fiancée.
elizabeth struggles over the facts and the lies, trying to keep watch over harry while determining the cause over his death. mystery unravels, and elizabeth realises the world around her changing- a shift in the wind. because in order to go forth into the future, she needs to re-evaluate her past.
