Rita's POV

"Good morniiiiing!"

"Wow ganda gising natin bakla ah"

It was 10:00 in the morning. I raised the blinds up and the sunrays all entered into our small studio unit. I saw my friend Britney preparing breakfast and things for work.

"Wala lang" I uttered. I chuckled. I giggled. I sat on the chair beside Britney and joined her at breakfast.

"Naku tigil-tigilan mo ako bakla. 'Yang ngiti mong 'yan, alam na alam ko 'yan"

She pointed at my cheeks, that are turning rosy pink without my knowing.

"Siya ulit no?" she then continued.

I can't help but smile. I dreamed of him again.

"Yes" my smile got bigger when he again entered my thoughts.

"Bakit? Nakita mo na ba yung mukha niya this time?"

I sighed, "Nope. Blurred pa rin yung face niya hanggang ngayon."

I walked into the window sill of our unit and I extend the opening of the blinds which were just half  raised earlier. I looked outside the window.

"Bakit ganoon Bakla? Ilang buwan ko na siyang napapaginipan, blurred pa rin yung mukha? Pero yung wangis niya, ni hindi ko kilala?"

I still hear the spoon and fork of my bestfriend as she continues to finish her breakfast. I am currently holding my cup of coffee while I'm here at the window, savoring the breeze of the cold air outside.

"Bakla, childhood bestfriends tayo pero hindi ko rin kilala yung nakikita mo, according to your descriptions"

"Wala akong matandaan na naging close sa atin na doktor na gwapo at ang cute ngumiti??" she continued.

"Pero alam mo, parang ang close namin sa panaginip ko eh. Maybe someday, magkikita din kami"

I looked back at her. She's now preparing her things for work. She's now ready to go.

"Ingat bakla" I said as I sipped the last drop of my coffee. "Daanan kita later sa hospital ha. Sabay tayo dinner."

She bade me goodbye, "Sure baks. Bye una na ako".

We were actually classmates before, in our nursing course. Since pre-school, we are already classmates until college. However, when I was in our second year, I thought that nursing is not for me so I changed course. I switched to culinary course, while still enjoying my hobby as an interior designer because I got an online course for this.

My bestfriend is now working as a nurse at the psychiatric ward at the biggest hospital in the city.

So weekdays are my lone time. Literally, I'm alone here in our unit. Hmm what to do for today?

I officially start the day by washing the dishes and fixing the table. Having breakfast is just my preliminary routine.

I took a bubble bath, and I am quite enjoying my alone time. I was busy cleaning the lounge room when a notification popped up at the right corner of my laptop screen.
