Chapter 2: Meteor Shower

Noa and Kai walked around and talked to some of the party guests, it almost seemed like the entire continent was here, there were so many animals

The two humans sat down next to Diego and Shira as they both grab a mango and ate it

Noa glanced over at Kai as she sadly thought

"Oh, Kai. If only we were engaged. You, the groom and me, the bride and we'll be officially husband and wife. *sigh* But I guess you just want us to be girlfriend and boyfriend for eternity, don't you"

"Noa?"

Noa snapped out of thought as she looked at Shira

"You ok?" Shira asked

"Oh! Yeah, yeah. I was just deep in thought" Noa quickly replied

"Yeah, you seem to be deep in thought many times" Shira said as she felt a little worried about her niece

"Really?" Noa asked

They both turned to Manny and Ellie who had a heated conversation with Peaches and Julian

"Manny is so overprotective of Peaches, it's ridiculous" Noa sighed as she rolled her eyes

"He certainly is" Shira replied

Just then, Diego got tapped on the shoulder by Sid as he turned to look at the sloth who had a worried look on his face

"Uh... Does that look like a problem to you?" Sid asked as he pointed to the sky where balls of fire were coming down from the sky

"A ball of fire heading directly towards us? Why would that be a problem?" Diego asked sarcastically as he rushed over to the group of mammoth ms who were still arguing

"What if you fall in a ditch and get amnesia? What then, huh?" Manny asked

"Manny, we have a problem" Diego said

"Not now. I have a problem" Manny replied frustrated

"This one's a little bigger" Diego replied

"I don't think so" Manny replied stubbornly

"Manny!" Diego scolded as Manny turned to face him

"What?" Manny exclaimed as Diego grabbed Manny's tusk and turned his head to look at the sky

Manny gasped as he fell onto his back

"Manny?" Ellie asked in concern as Manny got back on his legs and was panicking

"Uh, okay. Party's over, everybody. Have a good night. And leave right now!" Manny Shouted in slight panic

"What are you talking about? The party just got started" Ellie replied

"Yeah. *yawn* Just getting kind of sleepy. Everyone should go. And duck. Possibly cover!" Manny shouted in panic as he grabbed Ellie's trunk and tried to pull her away

"Hey, what's gotten into you?" Ellie asked as she separated herself from Manny, she looked up to the sky as she gasped when she saw the fireball fly over the trees and plummeted straight into the forest not too far away

"Look! There's more coming!" One of the mammals cried as more dozens came raining down and we're hurtling straight to everyone

"Meteor shower!" Another one yelled as everyone ran around in panic

"Meteor?" Eddie gasped as Crash sniffed his armpit

"Shower?" Crash gasped

"What's happening?!" Min gasped as he stayed close to Noa and Kai
