It was christmas eve and it was very weird not to be spending it with my brother and or the weaslys, i was sat on the floor in dracos bedroom wrapping presents he was helping his mother in the garden so i took this opportunity to get my wrapping done.

A week had past since draco and i first arrived at the manor and things have changed, everyone in the house seems to be relived and happier now that lucius had gone

im going to the weaslys the day after christmas day so getting the rest of these presents wrapped was a prioraty.

About an hour later i finished wrapping the presents and i decided to head down to the garden to join draco and narcissa, even though lucius was gone i still felt a cold shiver run down my spine, goosebumps running up my arms due to the cold breeze that runs through the old house permanently.

Despite narcissas efforts to brighten up the mannor, the darkness still lingers. I walked down the hallway observing the portraits as a went along, i neared the end of the hallway and a specific painting caught my eye, it was a painting of the malfoy family and bellatrix i inspected their faces and Draco look so numb, not showing any emotion what so ever i shifted my gaze over to the gold plack at the bottem of the wooden frame and the date was the 3rd of August 1996 so it was taken after the end of 5th year, im assuming this was taken near the time he became a de-
