"HI Y/N."

"I'm here for my weekly grave visit. Except I missed three weeks." he said, but this time he seemed much happier.

He was a much more happier person now. Or at least he had seemed more happy and no longer had that stupid frown on his face.

"How are you doing up there?"

"I'm good. What about you? Sleep well?"

"I miss you. A lot. Oh and you know the Marleyan and Eldian war? Well, it ended up okay. Eren ended up dying. You probably would've scolded me for not protecting him, but it was to end the curse. And I'm sorry it took me so long to visit. I was injured for a bit and I couldn't come even if I wanted to."

"It's okay. Don't worry about it."

"Hange ended up dying too. I'm sorry I couldn't prevent it. Out of the group it's only me left, huh?"

"Haha, yeah."

"But. I promise I'll stay strong for you. And so I can continue visiting your grave. And talking to you. Even your presence is nice."

"Thank you, Levi."

"I'm okay now. And Gabi and Falco are now taking care of me. I forgot to mention that. You know, Gabi the Marleyan girl I told you about? And Falco too. A lot of people ended up dying, but everything went okay in the end."

"That's good to hear. I'm glad they're taking care of you. You're getting old, huh?"

"I'm getting old. But I promise, the death that will be caused is old age. And I'll never forget to visit. 'kay?" he smiled before placing the flowers on the grave. Like he always did.

"Thank you."

And he never forgot.

"I hope your still smiling up there. I hope your happy. More happy you've been back then. I know how hard it must've been carrying all of that on your shoulders. And don't worry, I don't mind. Plus my mother didn't die in your arms anyway."

"..and Kenny. That doesn't matter either. It's been years since that."  he said putting his hands in his pocket.

"Haha, yes. It's been five years, hasn't it?"

"Goodbye Y/n. I'll see you next week, okay?" he stood there for a while wanting a response or just to hear your voice again.

"Goodbye, Levi. And I'll see you next week!"

You used both of your hands to embrace your chest against his back, your arms surrounding his figure. You finally were able to hug him again.

And he could feel it. Somehow he could feel it. It was nice, being able to do something like this.

You embracing his body. One last hug you guys were able to share.

"Thank you, Y/n." he smiled.

"Always."
