A/n: A little time to unwind
No One's Pov:
The night had finally calmed and Hermione promised to meet up with Y/n to relax for a bit before her late-night patrol with Ron, she found her girlfriend sitting in the window seat with a book, she smiled and set her bag down grabbing Y/n's attention who set her book down.
Y/n: "Hey babe," she said with a smile
He:" hey," she said with a sigh,
Y/n: "Rough day?" Hermione nodded, Y/n stood and walked over to her girlfriend as Hermione loosened her tie a bit. While distracted Y/n unclipped the Prefect badge and takes it in her palm, Hermione noticed and reached for it but Y/n hid it behind her back.
He:" what are you doing" Y/n shrugged
Y/n: "I don't know what you mean," she said jokingly
He:" give it back," she said with a giggle.
Y/n: "You need a bit of a break and that's what I am doing," Y/n said and slipped the badge in her back pocket.
He: "What makes you think I won't go back there and get it myself" she teased
Y/n:" what is it you say to me all the time "down girl" " Y/n said with a smirk and sat down on the window seat.
Y/n:" Well, now you have no choice but to come here and sit down and relax"
He: "I hate you," she says as she walked over to Y/n and sat in her lap, Y/n wrapped her arms around Hermione and kissed her neck softly.
Y/n: "yeah, yeah," she said, Hermione sighed and melted into her girlfriends' shape
He: "I can't wait for this year to end," she said
Y/n: "Is it really that bad being a Prefect? maybe you should just talk to McCgonagle I'm sure she'll understand"
He: "It's not that, it's just everything is happening so fast and it's just all so crazy and I just, I just need a breather you know."
Y/n: "Well, the Christmas holiday is coming up"
He: "Yeah but I want to go home" Y/n nodded and rubbed circles on Hermione's back, she knew that leaving her parents was very hard on Hermione and not being able to go home for the holidays made it worst.
Y/n: "I know Mione, but hey! that means your one step closer to summer"
He: "Summer"
Y/n:" you just gotta hang on"
He:" Speaking of summer, I was wondering if maybe you would want to come home with me?" Hermione asked sheepishly sitting up, Y/n sat up a bit too caught off guard by the question.
Y/n: "You want me to come home with you, to-to the muggle world!" she couldn't help but bounce up a bit excited.
He: "You're so cute, but yeah; I think we both deserve a break a-and, of course, we would have to ask Hagrid when he comes back if you don't want to you don't have to I know that we're new and maybe we aren't ready but I-I think" Y/n stopped the blabbering girl with a kiss that she smiled into.
Y/n:" Of course I would love to come home with you, I've never been to the muggle world it could be so fun! we could go on adventures and I can meet your parents! oh, your parents! I- I would learn so much" Y/n was practically jumping up and down on the cushions covering the wooden bay window seat.
He: "Alright, alright now it's your turn down girl" Y/n blushes in embarrassment, it's a good thing the library was empty so no one could see the puppy-like nature of the wolf who calmed and sat back down.
Y/n: "Sorry, I-I got excited, yes I would love to come home with you"
He: "Good, cause I've talked about it non-stop with my parents in letters, they are so excited to meet you! But we do need to ask Hagrid when he returns"
Y/n: "Yeah, I miss him," Y/n said softly
He: "Me too," she said, her watch begins to chime loudly in the library, she silences in a panic\
He: "It's after curfew! I can't have you wandering the halls Umbridge would kill you, she picks up her things followed by Y/n"
He: "Come on, I'll walk you to your dorms that way you won't get in trouble" Y/n nods, and the two walk together hand in hand talking quietly about what they were going to do in the muggle town, good thing the Ravenclaw tower was close to the library so they didn't run into any unsavory characters and Y/n made it upstairs and in bed before the last candle in the common room went out. Hermione quickly ran to catch up with Ron and began to patrol.
