A/n: End of Fourth year
No One's Pov:
The days after the Third task were grim and dark, the students had finished all their classes and were left to wander campus alone. The one who felt it the most though was Cho Chang, every day she cried in sorrow Y/n, Luna and the other Ravenclaw girls tried to help but she wasn't interested in their attempts she wasn't interested in anything all she did every day was lay in bed and cry and who could blame her. It was a miracle they could get her dressed and ready for the final feast, the students wanted nothing more than to pack away their uniforms and just be done with it all but alas the final feast had a dress code so they all dressed in their ties and went down to the great hall. The air was not cheery, the students did not yell or talk, all the banners had a shroud of black cloth over them and the only other banner that hung was Hufflepuff, there was no house cup, no happy music just silence and sadness.
The large group of students separated into their respective houses and the guest sat silently, Viktor looked ashamed and Fleur, Fleur's blue eyes had a sheen of unshed tears. Y/n had finally recovered from her fall but still had that deep knot in her stomach, but still, she was well enough to join her house for the feast. She sat quietly next to Fleur, Cho sat next to her and Luna sat next to Cho. The hall remained silent till Dumbledor stepped up to his podium to speak.
Du: "Friends, today we gather to honor the memory of Cedric Diggory a bright young boy who was taken too soon. Cedric wasn't only your classmate he was your friend he was a son, my heart goes out to all his loved ones and to all of you." there was a heavy pause till dumbledor spoke again.
Du: "You all deserve to know the truth about what happened, Cedric Diggory was murdered by Lord Voldemort." The whole room gasped in fear of the name but after many kids just chattered in disbelief.
Du:" You don't have to belive me, but I just want you all to know that you are all safe, and we will not forget his memory, no let us feast in his memory," he said solemnly and waved his arms quickly and the plates filled. The students ate in silence and some ate little of the feast, they stayed silent through the rest of the feast and remained silent as they were released. Luna walked back to the common room while y/n waited for the Gryffindor's, they were the last to leave, as soon as Y/n saw Hermione she walked quickly to her and fell into her open arms, Hermione stood on her tiptoes and gently ran her hand through Y/n's hair.
He:" Hey, how are you feeling," she said in a soothing tone, y/n pulled back but remained in Hermione's arms, y/n looked over to Harry.
Y/n:" okay, you?"
Ha:" I've been better" Y/n and Harry looked into each other's eyes Y/n nodded in a silent understanding Harry nodded back
Ro:" we should go" the two broke eye contact and Harry nodded once more, the boys turned away and walked out of the hall and over to the staircase. Y/n turned back to Hermione whose hand was still in y/n's hair.
He:" How's Cho?" Y/n sighed heavily.
Y/n:" Worse, all she does is cry; Luna and I have been trying to help but nothing works she's heartbroken" Hermione nods and takes her hand out of Y/n's hair.
He:" You look tired" Y/n wraps her hands around Hermione's waist.
Y/n:" Yeah, I'm okay but there's still a knot in my stomach that won't go away"
He:" Maybe you should write Professor Lupin, he might know something" y/n sighed heavily once more.
Y/n:" Yeah" Y/n pauses for a moment, then look to Hermione she smiles and kisses her sweetly. Hermione smiled and nodded slowly.
Y/n:" you should get back and finish packing the train leaves tomorrow morning" Hermione agrees and takes Y/n's hand. She walked Hermione to the portrait hole and kisses her good night.
Y/n:" I won't see you tomorrow, but I'll write as much as I can okay"
He:" Okay" this time Hermione pulls y/n into a long kiss goodbye and with a big smile she whispered the password and jumped into the Gryffindor common room.
Y/n lingered on the stairs with a goofy smile, she skipped up the stairs and up to the Ravenclaw tower.
