summer in portorosso - luca x alberto

she opened up her window. i looked at her awkwardly and waved.

"what? what are you doing here!? is this even real!?"

"y-yes... i decided to come here as a surprise but... now im scared."

"scared?"

"yeah... i don't wanna confront alberto... i feel he hates me."

"hates you!? are you kidding me!! he doesn't hate you luca, not one bit."

"i... okay, maybe i should say hi..."

"yeah! come on, let's go downstairs."

giuila grabs my hand and brings me down to where her front door is.

"i'll be back, don't be scared okay? i'm gonna go look for alberto..."

"wait giuila don't!"

she went inside.

"shoot! oh no... i don't wanna- i'm gonna go."

i went out the door and i ran towards my parents house. 

just as i was running boom, i hit someone.

"ouch! scusa, i was-

i look up... and my eyes couldn't believe what they were seeing.

it was alberto.

we both gasped.

"luca?!"

"i-i'm so sorry-

he grabbed me and pulled me into a hug. then i heard sniffing.

he was crying.

i hugged him back and closed my eyes. even though i was shorter he bent down a bit to give me a hug. i felt water going down my back.

we pulled apart.

"luca... i thought, you didn't care about me anymore..."

"what? are you serious i... no of course i care! you were- you are my first ever best friend! how could i ever forget about you."

"it's just that you haven't been coming i thought you didn't wanna see me."

"i did! but i was just so busy and then it became a regular thing and... jeez im so sorry."

"it's- it's okay! i'm just so glad you're here! like right now. did you come with giuila?"

"no, i came alone. i just wanted to surprise you both. but giuila found me in her tree house. then she said she'd get to so i panicked and ran outside and now were here..."

i scratched the back of my head nervously, i could see alberto knew i was nervous.

"i... come here, i wanna show you something."

he said holding out his hand.

"what- i- okay?"

i took his hand, he took me to a shop.

"do you remember this shop?"

"uhm, no not really? wait... yeah! where we saw our vespa!"

"yeah, i bought that. i'm still repairing it. it looks really cool wanna see it?"

"sure!"

alberto took my hand again, he led me to this secret garage.

"wow, this place looks nice."

"thanks, one of our neighbors lets me borrow this place. that's why his cars right here."

"woah!"
