i heard loud rain coming from outside the window. i'm sorta a light sleeper so it woke me up, i looked at the window for a moment. then i looked over at alberto.

he was sleeping, snoring a little bit. i didn't want to wake him up so i tried to go back to sleep. then thunder hit, i screeched a bit.

"shoot, that was loud."

it was thundering outside, i hate thunder. i grabbed my pillow and hugged it.

"it's okay, just breathe."

i said to myself as i was shaking. thunder hit again and this time it was louder.

i screamed, i couldn't hold it in anymore.

alberto groaned a bit and woke up.

"luca...?"

"i'm so sorry! i'm sorry, it's thundering outside... and i got scared."

alberto got up. 

"hey, it's okay. don't apologize."

i breathed in really quickly.

"do you wanna stay up until the thunder clears?"

alberto laid back down.

"no, no you go to sleep. i'm fine, it's okay."

"that just makes me want to do it more."

"alberto, it's okay. go to sleep alright?"

alberto turned to look at me.  he started shushing me.

"what are you doing?"

"i don't know... trying to calm you down?"

"alberto i said it's fine."

he put his hand on my cheek and started rubbing it. my eyes widened, what is he doing?

"al-

i didn't really speak, this was calming me. i even forget it was thundering outside. alberto took his hand away from my face.

"you okay now?"

"uh..."

thunder hit again, i screamed and i accidentally grabbed into alberto.

he laughed at me a bit.

"sorry!"

i tried to get off him but he only grabbed me tighter.

"you can stay like this if you want."

"i..."

i sighed.

"i'm so sorry, this is so weird."

"it's okay, i don't mind."

alberto brought me closer to his face.

"if you still can't sleep let me know. good night luca."

"g-good night..."

alberto without thinking kissed my forehead. my forehead!? and i... i liked it? what's even going on right now?
