I woke up with the sun shining in my eyes and checked the time on my phone. 9:30!!! Mom Dad we are late wake up!!! I run down stairs frantically and see them sitting in the kitchen.
" Mom Dad why didn't you guys wake me up?"
"Honey we aren't going to church today." My mom replies.
"What why?" I question.
"Sweetheart, I got a new job offer in Florida and we have to move there." My dad says.
" WHAT?WHY? I DONT WANT TO MOVE!! What about Mac and school and cheer?" I say.
( Mac is my best friend ever ever ever. It is short for Mackenzie.)
" I'm sorry sweetheart but I just can't tuen this one down." My dad says with a sad look in his eyes.
" You can spend all day packing and saying goodbye to Mac. She can come over too. We are leaving tomorrow. I'm sorry it's such a short notice." Mom replies.
I run upstairs and text Mac to come over right away and grab some boxes from my closet and start packing.
I don't want to leave... Texas is my home.
