"Ouch," I said wincing after I hit my toe on my nightstand as I was getting out the bed.

Today is the day that I'm gonna take Shar with me to my family brunch at my grandma's house.

And to say the least, I'm pretty nervous about it I mean a lot of my family members are bringing their friends so maybe I'm just overthinking.

After I brushed my teeth and did my hygiene I went on my Bible app and did my morning devotion I just decided to call Bashar to see if he's up.

I told him last night when we were talking on the phone to go to sleep early so he could wake up on time but he's hardheaded so I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have to call him to wake him up.

That's if he'll wake up to answer it.

The phone rang for a while almost until the last ring until Bashar answers.

I saw the background and I saw his headboard letting me know that he was still in his bed.

And he also had drool on the side of his face letting me know for sure that he's was most definitely asleep.

"Good morning sleepy did you forget that you got somewhere to be today?" I said resting my hand on the side of my face.

"I ain't forget I was just..sleepy cause you know I was up earlier then-"

"Bashar it was obvious that you were asleep because you don't get that much dried up the drool on the side of your face from a nap," I said laughing as he hurried up and got out of his bed and I'm guessing into his bathroom.

"What time we go to be there? He said propping up his phone and getting ready to brush his teeth.

"It starts at 12 but we should get there early when the food is fresh and we're not left with scraps so we should get there early plus there is gonna be breakfast there too so it's not like we're just gonna be eating dinner in the morning or something," I said as he nodded spitting out his toothpaste.

"So you wanna get ready now?" He asked.

"Yeah we can," I said.

"Ok so get up and her ready then you out here calling me and stuff," He said.

"Ok first of all I called you knowing that you would be asleep and we were gonna be late waiting for you to her ready to cut it out," I said going through my drawer.

"I'm gonna call you back when I get all changed and when I'm ready so I'm gonna call you back so be ready ok?" I said.

"You know I'm gonna be ready Khloe don't play with me," He said.

"Yeah ok just be ready when I call you," I said then I hanged up.

Shortly after my cousin Kara called me.

"Hey Kara how are you," I said putting my phone on speaker as I was getting dressed.

"I'm good I'm glad you finally picked up you haven't been calling like you usually do I was getting worried," she said

"Oh yeah I'm sorry I was just super busy," I said.

"But you always call me when you get home from work or before you go to work is that the reason is everything ok?"She asked.

"Well to be honest with you Kara things have been really great I've made a good friend," I said smiling.

"Really? She must be really fun if you've been forgetting to call me" Kara said.

"And I'm sorry Kara and yeah he is really fun I enjoy his company" I fixing my hair up.

"He? You sure you guys are just friends because you know you can tell me-"
