The main protagonist of this upcoming series, Son Goken is a clone of Son Goku created by Blizzar, descendant of Cooler, in order to one day conquer the Earth... a feat neither Frieza or Cooler were able to achieve in their lifetimes. However, before he could be used for Blizzar's evil purposes, the test tube made baby was rescued and sent to Earth to be trained as a student of the Turtle School, in hopes that the boy could be like his genetic template.
His pod crashed into Kame House, now inherited by Marron, daughter of Krillin and Android 18, who is now one of the two heads of the Turtle School and named him Son Goken!

(Much like his genetic template, Son Goken is quite a cheerful person whose smile often lightens anywhere he happens to be.)
Raised by the descendants of the Z Fighters, Son Goken is an able martial artist and much like his genetic template, Son Goku, loves to train and spar with other warriors. Being a young boy, Goken doesn't truly understand the significance of him being a full blooded Saiyan, as the descendants of Goku and Vegeta have now lost the ability to access their Saiyan transformations as a result of their blood being too human like now. Goken's interest include fighting, food, and adventure... which is what ropes Goken into his very first hunt for the mystical Dragon Balls and all the conflicts to follow.

(Much like his genetic template, Goken is pure hearted, allowing him to use the Son Family Nimbus Cloud. Despite knowing how to fly, Goken prefers to use the Nimbus Cloud when not in battle because he feels that the Nimbus is his friend and the Nimbus should not be unused for long periods of time)
Goken also wields the Power Pole that was once used by Goku and his Grandpa Gohan! Due to dreaming Goku's memories when he sleeps, Goken feels a strong attachment to the mystical staff... as if Grandpa Gohan's prized staff has now managed to find itself used by his family for yet another lifetime. Goken, due to being able to access Goku's memories in the form of dreams, is something of a martial arts historian, wanting to learn all about ancient legendary weapons, tournaments, and epic battles such as the one fought by Goku against Frieza on Namek.

Due to not wanting Goken to be as naive as Goku, the still living Android 18 makes Goken attend school... which is something the young boy isn't overly interesting in, but deals with to make 'Grandma 18' happy.

Goken is best friends with Garment, a descendant of Vegeta and Bulma via Bulla. Garment resembles Bulma and Bulla and is quite the scientist, often making gadgets that Goken and the others can use in their adventures. Goken is also close to Boxer (Vegeta's descendant via Trunks), Godou, a descendant of Goku via Goten and Goujiro, a descendant of Goku who is Pan's grandson!
