Chapter 17:
The girls and I make our way downstairs to the boys. They all gather around the family room and I make my way to the front.
“Jake. Can you please come here?” he makes his way towards me taking my hands and smiling like an idiot.
“I love you and I never regret any of the decisions that led me to your arms that keep me safe then I ever felt before. I want to thank you for that. I don’t want anyone to go through anything I want to. Jake Wilson. I don’t want our baby to go through anything I did. I want him or she too be happy.”
I place his hand on my stomach and he looks at me with no facial expression. He turns his lips into a smile that shows his white sparkly pearl looking teeth and starts to cry. He starts to laugh and pulls me into his embrace. This was a memory I could not forget.
“I guess I am going to be a daddy huh?!” he kisses me on the forehead.
“I love you Alex.” He smiles.
“I love you Jake” I smile.
