"Newt?"
"Yes love?"
I smile slightly, hearing that again.
"There's something I need to tell you."
I take a deep breath, not knowing if this would be a huger mistake or not.
"Alright, go ahead."
"I think I'm uhm~"
"What is it darling?"
"I think I'm pregnant." I blurt it all out.
He stares at me in shock, but I continue,
"It might be yours or Thomas's, I don't know.
I lied to him, he asked and I lied. All I know is that I'm scared Newt. For the first time in my life, I don't know what to do, weather I should give up or~"
"You can't give up. I won't let you."
"I think that maybe this is my fault, I should've helped Minho, I should have done something, it's all my fault. Everything, the reason we're here, why you're infected, why I don't know who the father is, Maybe Gally was right."
"No y/n, you're the reason we're free. Now the others may have their doubts and that's fine but they would follow you anywhere."
"They'd follow Minho."
"It's different with Minho, you know it is."
"We all have our roles to play."
"I don't know how I'm going to get him back, I talk about it all day and all but I don't even know where to start. I mean we don't have the element of surprise anymore. I'm lost." I admit.
"We've all been lost before." He assures.
"This is different."
"There is a place for us somewhere, all of us. And I don't know where that is, but I do know that we've forgotten about all our friends that died for us to be here, so we can't give up, you can't give up."
I smile at him, he smiles back.
"Thank you."
I hug him.
When we pull away we lock eyes, it was just us two.
Alone. Together.
He leaned in slowly, looking down at my lips. I got caught up in the moment, I knew it was wrong.
Part of me felt bad, the other part was still in love.
I did it, I kissed him back.
I fucked up, again. Thomas couldn't find out.
I wouldn't let him.
I pulled away quickly, "Newt, please don't tell anyone about this, I'm sorry but~"
"No y/n, I completely understand, I just had to do that, one last time."
