Sasuke locks his eyes with her while he lays on her lap, the moon luminates on her. Beautiful, he thinks.

"If it were time for us to part..."

She inhales. "If we were to separate, will you find me in our next life?"

Sasuke smiles. "But of course." He raises his hand to caress her cheek.

"It'll always be you, beloved."

"Then for that day, I shall wait." She leans in to his touch.

"I hope...I hope...they don't suffer the same fate as us."

"They won't. I promise you."
