Setting: Modern AU

Sakura yawns as she slowly reached for her phone. She then took notice of the multiple missed calls from her lover.

Surprised, she checked the time and-

"12:47 PM?!" She screamed, her classes had already started hours ago!

This is the first time she's ever overslept through online classes, so she couldn't help but panick, missing out on lessons is one of her fears after all.

It took a few minutes for her to calm down and finally, she called Sasuke.

It only took two rings until she heard his voice on the other line.

"Did you sleep well?"

"Shut up..." the pinkette grumbled, further burying her face in the pillows.

"Did I miss anything major?" She quietly asked. A short pause, and Sasuke spoke.

"Yeah...I'll send you the notes later."

Sasuke took notice of the heavy silence, and he chuckles.

"Don't get gloomy, I'll help you out on the lessons."

Sakura smiled, "Thank you, Sasuke-kun."

"No problem, now get out of bed. I'm gonna order you mcdonalds for lunch."

He heard his girlfriend immediately jump out of bed, and couldn't help but smile.

Even through a call, he feels connected with her.

"I love you, Sasuke-kun!"
