she was beautiful
graceful as she soars in the skies
nearly blending in with the gentle white clouds
projecting a sense of calmness and tranquilityshe was loved
choirs of the heavens sang
as she passed
showered with affectionshe was perfect
the ideal for all of them
the purest of them all
the most righteous of alland then she wasn't
one day
she fell astray
banished away

she fell in love
yet there were no singing doves
oh, alas that forbidden loveas if a brush painted
tainting the canvaswings of ivory transformed into
those of a raven
feather by featherstrands of gold turned to the inky
black of hell
a bodice of white into pitchyet her tears were still clear
streaming as she cried in pain
her heart ripped apart, soul laid bare
her efforts in vainfor she did not care
being cast out
yet her lover was gone
destroyed by the one
she called Fathershe sat there on the surface
elegant and graceful
deadly and disastrous
