Today were the first rounds of the champion tournament. The first and second rounds would be three on three matchups while the third round would be six on six matches.These were the matchups
Leon vs Iris
Lance vs Y/n
Cynthia vs Diantha
Steven vs Ash
The winners of the first three matches are as followed:
Ash
Leon
Cynthia
The final first round match was Lance vs Y/n as they began their battle.
Lance:Go Gyarados.
Y/n:Go lapras
The two water pokemon then came out and the battle started.
Y/n:Use rain dance
Lance:Use Hurricane
Lapras set up rain as Gyarados sent a large stream of wind which hit lapras but didn't seem to do much.
Y/n:Use thunder
Lance:Dodge it!
But is was too late for Lance to do anything and Gyarados was then hit by the 4× super effective move and knocked out.
Lance:Return and go tyranitar
Tyranitar came out and sandstorm was activated.
Y/n:Use rain dance
Lapras then set up rain.
Lance:Dammit, Use rock slide.
Tyranitar then sent over rocks which was super effective but didn't look to be that effective.
Y/n:Hydro pump
Lapras then annihilated Tyranitar and Lance sent out his Dragonite.
Lance:Use thunde-
Y/n:Use blizzard
Even before Lance could do a command Lapras sent over a blizzard and knocked out Dragonite sending Y/n to the next round. Everyone Looker shocked at the fact that Y/n knocked out all of Lance's pokemon with only one pokemon and one move each. Cynthia then wondered what kind of training did Y/n do.
